Great tool, labor saver.

Great tool! Used for 3" toilet flange. Saved me the trouble of ripping up the floor or cutting a hole in the ceiling below to replace the drain pipe. I sharpened it and it cut even better, but without it it would have done his job.

Works well and is worth the money

For the price it's not a problem. Works very well and as you can see will save you from problems! When you need to reuse a fitting so you don't have to replace everything unnecessarily. I will be getting other sizes to add to my toolbox! Good product ! Anyone can do it with patience!

Garbage and should be sold illegally.

The product leaves additional dimensions in the PVC pipe. If you plan to reuse the pipe after using this CO release tool, it may very well leak which is deadly. I wouldn't even try to reuse the pipe if exposed to this H2O drain pipe tool as I'm sure it will leak in some cases. There are several reasons why the design of this tool is flawed. 1) The diameter of the guide should fit snugly against the inside of the pipe. 2) The guide rail needs to be lengthened to ensure accurate and more precise…

So I bought this because the 3 inch pipe that my toilet flange was supposed to go to broke and I had to pull the pipe out of the fitting. Unfortunately for me she was about 7 inches. from the bottom to the top of the fitting, so I had to improvise an extension first, which I did with a 1/2-20 socket and a 5" 1/2-20 screw. So I don't know if it comes with related to the extension or how the bit works but the inside of the fitting wasn't the smoothest surface.Drain pipe and with some emery cloth…

Essential tool for plumbing repair

Saved me a lot of work. It worked amazingly well. I had a 3 inch ABS drain line that ran through the block foundation about 4 feet below the ground under the patio. I was searching the house and going to the main drain connection when I noticed that someone had cut the st45 drain pipe halfway. due to cleaning of the tee which made this a problem as the entire hub was inside the block wall. So I'm left with 3 options: 1. rip up the patio and dig out the pipe, which wasn't ideal, 2. knock out the

Saved the day but barely

This tool saved a do-it-yourself toilet installation project that was on the brink of disaster. The initial work matched the beam in the adjoining room 100%. The elbow broke as the flange splintered, and using a heat gun on the nearest visible fitting deformed it so the new pipe would not seal. If this tool didn't work, I would open up the kitchen ceiling to access a section of pipe that could be cut and extended. It has been incredibly successful to put this long tool in a 1/2 inch chuck with…

Rescuer! for hand tools

This is for a 3 inch torch. On my third and final bathroom renovation in this 1970's house. In each of the first two, the subfloor around the toilet had to be replaced as it had become loose over the years. Simple enough, and each time I took it a step further. was here. I would cut the 3" ABS pipe and install new pipes and fittings with a new stainless steel toilet flange. Worked perfectly and I installed the flange at the correct level as above the tile, not below level with the tile built…

Good option for Allen key

My review is for a 3 inch security key. My guess is that due to the nature of the product, the difficulty in getting an accurate cut increases with size (e.g. ½ inch is easiest and 4 inch is most difficult). I bought this because the toilet flange had broken to the point where it couldn't be secured with metal rings or other simple fasteners. When I tried to remove a toilet flange from a 3" drain pipe with a hammer and chisel, I couldn't properly remove the flange from the pipe. I found that…
