Only works under certain conditions.

Works well when clipped into the faceplate. Otherwise it hangs freely between the door and the front panel. If the latch does not fit the metal plate, the door will not even close because the latch will not fit the bezel and jamb.

No need to install latches!

Great security item. I don't have deadbolts on my front doors in some of my homes and was about to install them but they work great. Bought as a gift for friends and family. Works on bedroom doors and front doors. Will try them on hotel doors next time! The purchase is worth it!

Hardware didn't work for me

I think the product idea is fantastic and I really enjoyed using it, but this product didn't work on my door. My door has a slightly protruding seal, but nothing extreme. However, it did not fit between the door or in the strike plate. In addition, it folds up very easily with a little pressure. One of the locks is also slightly bent. Unfortunately I will be returning this product.

two for one DAMN. YES SIR.

I bought these because I work from home and recently someone broke into my apartment next door. I'm always alone and locking the door wasn't enough for me. I was hoping they would be easy to install and luckily they were. Easy to put on and take off! I also plan to take her to Vegas when we get to our hotel room next week! The perfect extra precaution and very easy to use. Also wearable! Definitely good value for money. I am very happy

Great holiday security

Just got back from a holiday where the door of the apartment was badly damaged by a door frame. Of course we complained but apart from leaving the apartment we had already paid for we had to reinforce the security of the door. The door itself was not damaged but we were concerned that it would be easy to open. We fitted our portable door lock and now the door was completely locked.
