Needs modification to go below 80psi

The unit I received will not work below 80psi out of the box, I cut the spring so I can use it to set the base pressure to 43 increase psi. It also quickly relieves pressure after the fuel pump shuts off. It's not perfect, but it's hard to beat the price.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Empty

READ BEFORE BUYING THIS PRODUCT!

READ READ! Incorrect description I decided to disassemble this regulator and after checking all the parts, this regulator is compared to the Aeromotive Extreme Flow EFI 13132 regulator. Please note that it comes with a 75-120psi high pressure spring which is not rated for an electric pump. (Do not buy if you have an electric pump). It is designed for a hex/belt drive pump.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good pressure control. I would buy again.

Excellent fuel pressure regulator. Very large internal passages do not restrict fuel flow. It came with a dual 10AN supply and a 6AN return. However, the return and interior passages are large enough to accommodate a 10 AN fitting. There are no leaks at all. The seller is very polite, friendly and answers emails. I would highly recommend this regulator to anyone with a large fuel system. Thank you for an affordable product that works.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Works fine except. for pressure regulator

As others have said upon arrival the lowest pressure it can take is 90psi. Far too high for almost every application. Clamp in a vise, loosen 4 screws. Carefully remove the inner spring. Cut 2.25 rings from one side of the spring. Straighten the end again. Collect everything back. 40psi. Unbeatable for the money and after that it worked flawlessly. It took me 20 minutes to finish. And it never leaked. Given that the brand costs 4-5 times more than it was worth.

Pros
  • Nice appearance
Cons
  • Some flaws

Waste of money, buy a good name brand fuel pressure regulator.

With the stock spring I had over 100psi at idle with the adjuster fully extended. However, there are no leaks. I cut 3 coils *total* of the spring to get a pressure below 100psi. The device is now operating at either 45psi, which is too low, or over 100psi. There is absolutely no regulation. Remember I cut the coil half at a time and checked the pressure each time. Talk about wasting time! After spending a lot of time trying to get this to work I gave up and threw it in the trash where it…

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
