Not worth it, a fibrous filthy sludge that fails again and again.

I bought this because it looked like a good set of PETG filament at a reasonable price. To be honest this stuff is just weird and I couldn't print it properly after playing around with it for a few days. The first clue that this material is going to be weird is the packaging. The outside of the box says PLA, and while individual spools say PETG, the recommended hot-end/layer temperatures are closer to PLA than PETG. Maybe all the numbers are correct, but I was certainly wondering if the…

Does not print at specified temperatures and NOT as described.

first. I hate the fact that the description says it prints as easy as PLA. It is not. You must get the exact, perfect, and magical combination of nozzle temp, bed temp, ambient temp, case temp, fan speed, bed prep, retract speed, and all other possible ambient conditions and correct settings, or you won't even be able to get the first layer . This isn't at all like PLA, where you can get an acceptable print with a fairly wide range of settings. If your machine and environment are right on the…

A great way to get into the world of PETG printing!

This pack of 10 popular PETG threads is a great way to discover the wonderful world of PETG! I typically do most of my prints in PLA, which is far more forgiving but also has its downsides. For the most part, PETG is a much stronger filament with flexibility and can handle higher temperatures, but it doesn't do a good job of bridging, printing small objects, and is more prone to scratches. My first run was with black thread and it produced as much oozing as you can. look at one of the pictures.
