Seal well, stay sealed

They are similar to other bags of the same type. I sealed the thread and left it overnight. The first picture shows the package right after sealing. The second photo shows the same bag after 24 hours. Without change. The package was perfectly sealed. I don't use a hand pump. It is difficult to use and requires a lot of energy. I bought a small pump that runs these bags. If you use them a lot, it's worth buying. To use these pouches effectively, make sure you have a hard, smooth surface to place

Protect your thread!

Moisture is bad for many types of 3D printer filament, so these vacuum bags are designed to protect filament spools from that humidity. The size of these pouches is perfect for a 1kg spool, so be careful when inserting the spool to avoid damaging the pouch. I also add a few 5g desiccant packs just to be sure. These are good quality reusable filament storage bags. I've sealed several coils in these bags for months and both held the vacuum. A manual air pump takes some practice to properly place…

I print exclusively in PLA and have heard conflicting information as to whether moisture is an issue with it. But I figured sealing my exposed coils wouldn't hurt. It's hard to say, but maybe I was wrong. First with these bags. I had to redo most of them because they lost their fillings almost immediately. I finally managed to get a seal which took over 20 minutes although I've just checked two that are still closed and one of them got air. Coils, sealed them and used a pump to remove the air…
