Seems really well made and sturdy. A previous review mentioned that the mounting cap is recessed and collects water. That's true, but the actual part of the lock is raised, so the recessed part is shaped like a donut. I don't think this will be a problem. There are also a few drainage holes on the bottom. Pretty bad. HF canisters are of much better quality. Cool bottle, great idea. Just badly executed. The lock often breaks off. This is where I keep extra fluids for the truck. On a lockable shelf outside the truck. So I don't have to lock the lid. Actually I haven't used mine yet, I can see daylight through some of the joints so don't know how it fares in the elements but I can put your stuff in the bag or without, I like these with no tool trays for you to tuck away It could have been sealed better in its connecting cables and all those big items but so far I'm happy with it, as I said I haven't used many elements yet so I don't know how well it will hold up but it seems high quality Definitely recommend upgrading a few months…

I really like the idea of this product and got a lot of compliments. The vast majority of people have no idea that this is a storage tank and not a canister. I decided to make my own bracket/holder and mount it where the spare tire would normally be on my '93 Jeep Wrangler. Bought two of these cans for my Jeep 7 years ago, the quality is excellent, durable! I just bought two more exactly the same tins in 2019 and they are completely different, solid defective rubbish! The cans I just received are made in China, they have holes in the seams meaning you can tell it's not a real canister as you can see inside the so called secret canister!
