I wasn't sure if my printer could print carbon fiber polycarbonate. Maybe. True, this is the maximum temperature value. 260C is all I have, although it looks like the filament needs another 10C. I use 100C for the bed temp, which works well, the bed takes a long time to reach that, but it achieves it. I did some test prints with the 0.5mm nozzle. I was apprehensive about trying 0.4mm as that material looks rough. I also use a hardened steel nozzle. I don't know how bad the wear is, but so far…

Prints great, looks great.

I used up about half a spool of this Ranki carbon fiber PLA and will definitely add more when it runs out. Very cool matt look with good surface finish. Somehow better than just black PLA. I haven't done any scientific strength testing against regular PLA, but it definitely has better layer adhesion than the other brand of regular PLA I have. One of the parts I made with the Ranki CF PLA was a thumbscrew that holds the pulley cover to my mower and after 10 hours of mowing this part is hard as…

This material is amazing - carbon fiber PLA = WINNER.

If I was stuck on a desert island with just my printer and a spool of filament, I would choose carbon fiber PLA. RANKI carbon fiber PLA is amazing. I had to experiment with temperature settings for both the platform and the extruder before finding the optimal settings that resulted in consistently high-quality prints.
