Not worth the investment

As a result of my tests, I determined that this knocker viewer height is poorly made and unreliable. The installation process was a hassle and the product didn't even function correctly. It's also too expensive for the poor quality.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poor quality, unreliable, difficult installation process, expensive.

Nice hammer on hammers

I used this hammer to replace an old version of almost the same size and design. I like it. Looks good, viewer works as expected and overall build and quality is what you expect for the price. He can use a template to make sure you drill two holes in the right place. However, you can create your own template from a regular sheet of paper.

Pros
  • Has space to engrave a name or number
Cons
  • Vulgarity

although it is fairly obvious how it fits together

Unfortunately this unit is difficult to install. The reason for this is that there are no instructions, although it is pretty obvious how to assemble it, but the main problem is that there is no hole template. If the seller had included a hole template, the installation would have been easier than trying to measure and hoping the three holes you just drilled to the bottom of your front door are accurate. I would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Meets ANSI A156.16 specifications
Cons
  • Blank
