Benefits: Reliability

: Its Hardness and its excellent finish. Cons: Crap design. 1) There is too much material around the left (top) bolt hole and it gets into the rod holder. It's fine, but this tilts the mount a few degrees, resulting in a long antenna overall. 2) The supplied screws are chrome plated and the wrong type. They should be black with an integrated shoulder, especially at this price point. 3) The bracket should have an additional Z curve to push the top of the bracket closer to the rear door (towards…

Low cost, good quality, requires moderate work to fit properly

Well made and great value. However, it takes some work to actually ground it in order for it to work properly (as mentioned in the previous poster). If you don't want to do any special work or don't have much time, be sure to buy another mount. Here's what I did: - Set up a dremel with a metal nozzle - Sand the bottom of the antenna connector. j.- Sand the back of the bolt hole.- Install it. Very high quality, durable, thoughtful design, easy installation on Jeep Wrangler JK with a perfect fit.

I have read reviews of several products that have been sold for the Jeep antenna and flag mount. Most products have had a variety of issues, from having to buy bolts and stacks of washers, bending a flimsy bracket to make room, or sliding it between a steel tailgate and a plastic spare tire bracket is a bad way to go.
