For better or for worse, there is very little wood in the filament

I have no problem printing this filament as I use a 0.8mm nozzle, but it prints from mine with no problems 180 to 220 or 230 . Unlike many other threads, the color does not change with temperature, probably because there is so little wood in it. It doesn't really absorb stains (because there is very little wood), but it ends up looking like small holes as small pieces of wood absorb the stain (the photo partially obscures the problem). Very easy to work with, fantastic results

Doesn't smell of wood as advertised but other than that it's a fantastic reel. It actually prints MUCH better than any of my other PLA prints. Does not shrink or sag easily. The layers also adhere very well. Prints are crisp and clean. I always thought that "specialized" threads like wood would require more experience and handling, but it was very easy. As for the appearance of the wood, you can see tiny grains and it is brown in color. But it won't look like you carved anything out of wood…

Don't get your hopes up

Don't get your hopes up for that feel/look like wood. In fact, it's just a brown thread with a semi-matte, slightly rough finish. Finished products are somewhat brittle. A pencil cup I printed with a few small details ripped easily (same item is indestructible made from regular PLA). I would recommend printing at 100% infill to maximize durability. The brown color will disappear if you scrape it off and what's left will remain white. The photo shows the toothpaste key that I printed out. The…
