This item is Schlage FE595VCAM619ACC Camelot keypad accent lever door lock, satin nickel. Used for hardware, door, gate & window hardware accessories. The product is manufactured in Mexico. No programming required; preset with 2 user codes so it's ready to use right out of the box. Door thickness range: 1-3/8" to 1-3/4"thick. Keyless entry providing enhanced security. Reversible lever for use with doors that are either right hand open or left hand open. Outside assembly: 6.84 inches tall, 3.01 inches wide, 2.74 inches deep; Inside assembly- 5.75 inches tall, 3.01 inches wide, 2.77 inches deep. Quickly add or delete user codes at the keypad using the lock's unique 6-digit programming code. Easy installation with no wiring required. 9-volt battery is included. Door thickness range: 1.37 to 1.75 inches.

No longer works best in door levers

I purchased this product 5 years ago. I like that it looks durable and it was very comfortable during use. Battery life seemed excellent. I have only changed the battery once in 5 years and it was easy to do. However, I came home today and it didn't work. I thought maybe the battery I installed 3 months ago was bad although there was no warning. Anyway I was locked in so I had to call a locksmith to let me in. Almost $200 later I opened the lock to change the battery again, but even after…

Great castle! Never lock yourself up and look for keys again.

I like this lock because you never need a key. No more rummaging in your pocket or locking yourself in. I found the lock fairly easy to install. Please follow the instructions but I have detailed some points and shown some photos. This lock is a little different from others I've had as it automatically locks when the door is closed. Installation takes 15 minutes, but watch the video instead of just following the instructions.

This overview is for initial setup and first impressions only. I'll update later if it proves solid or if something goes wrong. I want a door with a keypad lock in case I lock my keys inside - which I've done 3 times in the last month for some reason. I also wanted it to auto-block; My daughter has a bad habit of going in at night and not locking the door behind her.
