curved parts in hardware

We have ordered 2 of these bag door latches. When we first installed the lock handle was very difficult to turn and didn't seem to align properly. After comparing the two we bought, the one we installed had a curved part on the inside. We installed the second one in its place, and everything is fine now. I can only hope they replace the latch because by the time our builder was able to install it it was past the return date. It doesn't seem to matter as it was never opened until the day of…

Easy to install, nice finish and quality`

This is a snake and it's built like a snake. The quality is very good. I love the exit. I never noticed that my old "bronze" hardware was actually just brown until I replaced it with this one. The assembly was easy and uncomplicated. There were instructions you probably don't really need. No missing parts. I had to adjust the screws to keep the latch mechanism centered on the door or the lock would slip off. I think that this is just part of the installation not to take a star for. Installation

Good lock but needs improvement

The door is still difficult to open from that little groove (not to mention the actual retractable lever, but if your door is closed you'll need to use the notch to lock it open, and that's what I mean). If I were you (who researches sliding door hardware) looking for a sliding door handle and the like, consider some other options or try it yourself on an installed door. but the item looks great and it looks like a lot of these door pools. As for the pull arm - it works as intended and…

Good replacement for your broken pocket door lock!

We have a sliding door to our master bathroom. The previous lock was shiny brass, was about 7 years old and was installed by the original contractors who built the house (so probably a lower lock purchased in bulk). The door would no longer lock, and when we examined the interior, it was because the locking mechanism was defective - repairing it is not easy and inconvenient. We decided to purchase this as a replacement which looked the same as our original lock but with a different finish to…
