Description of 🔍 Seagate Skyhawk 4TB Surveillance Hard Drive with SATA 6Gb/s, 64MB Cache, 3.5-Inch Internal Disk - Frustration Free Packaging (ST4000VX007)
- 4 TB for 6500 - great price (with a coupon for a thousand) Silent compared to my 2 old hard ones Claimed speeds СMR
- Price lower than WD Purple
- The disk died after 3.5 years of work in the video surveillance system
- It's too early to say, but for the price that I bought along with all the goodies from the bank and the market for the price of 1 TB, I took it for a PC for storage, + not a tiled record, for me it was decisive.
- A little slower than my old WD Purple. Recording in a single stream from 80-130. I don’t know why, but it goes in waves from smaller to larger, I didn’t test it any more, maybe I’ll unsubscribe later.
- - Price - Volume
- - Very noisy. Crunches head at work
- * High recording speed, because the HDD is optimized for use in video surveillance systems with simultaneous recording of multiple video data streams. * Low power consumption. * Low noise. * Low vibration. The HDD has special vibration sensors. * Low temperature.
- * The impossibility of using the HDD in Linux OS for domestic purposes.
- CMR
- Parasitic noise appeared after 1 year and 8 months
