Mandatory for solo launches

I don't always bring another adult with me when launching my 11 foot inflatable floor inflatable Achilles. The boat and motor together weigh about 200 pounds and with those rear wheels I can easily push it down the ramp, then fold the wheels in and go. The whole process of getting the wheels from the down position to the vertical position takes 2 minutes. Then when I'm ready to deflate and roll the boat, I simply unscrew the wing nut, bolt and pin and remove the arms and wheels to store…

  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Legacy model

Great quality and works better than expected.

When I opened the box I was amazed at the excellent quality. Aluminum is not cheap at all and is very durable. A pleasant surprise is that the wheels and feet are easily removable, so you can remove them if you don't want to move around in the "wheels up" position. I glazed a homemade marine plywood boat, 12 feet long. It was impossible to get my boat to the beach by myself and I'm fit (no pre-water issue). These wheels turn what was once a chore into a chore. I would highly recommend her to…

Great with one big caveat

Great idea and very good product. The only problem, and this is quite important, is that when the boat is in the water, it takes two hands to lower the leg and lock it in place. As with most boats, my stern slopes away from the saloon. The tires REALLY want to float and the pins just don't compress to go in on their own. So I have both hands in the water, one DEEP in the water to hold my hand and the tire and ring while squeezing my other hand hanging over the edge, right in the middle of ONE…

13 months and 3 starts and boom

Neat kit. I prefer push pins to other sets with easy to lose parts. The installation went as expected. At this price I think it should contain 4200 or 5200. Worked well for 3 runs. 11 ft PVC inflatable boat, Tohatsu 20hp, 3 gallon fuel tank, U1 battery, various equipment. Probably 300 pounds max. Handles this weight with no problems. Makes work on the ramp much easier. While being transported for a Memorial Day weekend trip, one of the tires exploded while I was sitting in the back of my truck.

  • Nice to use

I have decided to write this, my first product review, because I love the product so much that I want to spend time on it. This is a mixed review but I upgraded it to 4 stars because Seamax's customer service was great! They appear to be a devoted little company of real people. This is a good reason to buy their product right here. Great product design, exceptional customer service and great quality except for those tires and tubes! I'd say buy the product, but beware of a blowout when you get…
