My SnoBrum arrived today and like other reviewers the handle does not slip out. I tried everything I could think of and it just wouldn't budge. The bad part. MADE IN THE USA. So sad. waste of money. UPDATE: I contacted SnoBrum and they suggested hitting the handle hard on something hard to loosen it. I slapped it a few times but it still didn't come out so I threw it where it belongs - in the bin!

Used to use this product. This time I can't get the handle out at all. He doesn't move at all. I followed the instructions and couldn't move. Then he asked someone stronger than me to pull the handle out. They also couldn't get him to move. I asked a third person (the one who already has snot) and he told me it was a common problem. So my question to the supplier and/or manufacturer is what is the trick to opening it, or how do I get a replacement pin - one that works?

I had one of these a few years ago and I expected it to be the same length. The handle is much shorter and sticks at first (I sprayed it with WD40 to loosen it and it was fine after that). This size will fit a regular car or sedan, but if you have a truck or SUV (a car that sits higher off the ground), buy one with a longer handle. I had one of the originals of this product over 20 years ago. It was great, durable and easy to use. The handle was as long as a broom, so perfect for pushing snow away completely. They definitely reduced the price with this product. The handle is about half the length of the broom, allowing me to brush just over half the snow off my windshield, hood, or roof.
