No Spandex or Lycra!

My son uses them for training. We've had terrible times with suits breaking out of Lycra and Spandex even with proper care. No problem with this suit.

You may need a lining below

Fits well, works well in the water. Increase the size. As this is a 'lighter' version, you may need to wear briefs underneath for added support and modesty. Overall, typically good Speedo quality.

This size 22 is perfect for a 2 year old boy

This size 22 is perfect for a 2 year old boy. My son just turned 3 years old in December 2015. It fits perfectly at the moment but will only last a couple of months because it's tight now. But the quality is good! The yellow is more like orange yellow and it's so cute

They're not as thick as the jammers I've used in the past which are considered "rugged+ " (which I like as they last a lot longer

I haven't Noticed that these jammers were considered "lightweight" They aren't as thick as the jammers I've used in the past which are considered "stamina+" (which I like as they are much longer last longer than lycra) I haven't had them in quite a while to know their durability but so far they are ok.

Perfect fit is best for boys

Got 5-4-16 as a silencer training set for my 6 year old who is starting his first year on the team for swimming. Perfect for a size 22 (waist 23 inches, wide but not heavy). After reading the reviews I was almost afraid to buy a different brand or a size (or two!) bigger. I'm glad I didn't. All I can think of is that many others thought they would buy shorts rather than "tight" suits designed for racing and competitive swimming. They're meant to be a little difficult to put on, with no gaps orโ€ฆ

Good quality but hard material

They definitely live up to expectations. The material is a bit stiff and not as tight as I would like. By stiff I mean the material is almost like wearing a wetsuit. It's not as noticeable in freestyle, but I do feel some resistance in the breaststroke. I swim over a mile every day on my lunch break. Although this is a small drag, it is noticeable when swimming long distances. I've been alternating this pair with a pair of Pro LT mufflers for a while. Now I only wear the Pro LT and the Quarkโ€ฆ
