Satisfactory fuel cap

First of all the packaging is very secure with all those vials wrapped in plastic around the product and delivered earlier than suggested by email. This fuel cap from Stant proved to be a perfect replacement (perfect fit, no leaking/hissing) for the OEM caps in my GE8. Now I put my OEM caps in the storage room and let them rest there. Last but not least, I look forward to Revain offering more competitive international shipping rates.

It's not a direct OEM replacement (at least not in my application).

I bought this for a 2006 Honda Pilot. This cap fits over the filler neck of the tank and should work as intended, but it will not attach to the factory cable that attaches it to the fuel filler flap hinge. This is annoying because when you fill up you have to find a place to put the cap and hope you don't drop it and leave it at the gas station. If you don't care about the cable, you should be fine, but I didn't want to give it to my client like that.

The click mechanism rotated in both directions, so it could not be removed. We were at a gas station on the Autobahn, so I was looking for an expensive tow truck to go to the workshop for a long time. Eventually I was able to force it open with pliers and all the strength of my fingers. As soon as I got home, I put the factory…
