Won't scratch the bottom of the pot

I bought an egg custard stirrer for a 6.5 inch pot. Since it's milk based, I have to scrape the bottom of the pot. This device cannot do that. .Good: - The device mounts easily - The clamp is metal and fairly sturdy Less Good: - It doesn't scratch or even touch the bottom of the pan The weight of the handle is designed to push the bottom of the stick out until it stops against the wall pot. However, the inner part of the pot walls don't meet the bottom of the pot at a sharp right angle - they…

A stirrer that really works!

I had another stirrer that was on TV that was under ten dollars. Do not worry. But the search continued - home cooks don't have a sous chef to stir, and we have to cook a lot of things at once. Freeing ourselves from one task so we can do everything else better is a significant benefit. This beater has real muscle - the motor is geared, so it beats with real power. I made risotto yesterday and he mixed everything for me. He only stood in the pan stirring for about half an hour, not me. It is…

No more spending hours at the stove

Update 10/23/18: It's been a year since I bought it and I've used my Stirmate at least a hundred times (about 250-300 hours). It still works perfectly. I've used it to make all kinds of sauces (stews, bolognese, velouté and spanish sauce, ice cream and gelato bases, puddings, puddings, soups and jams). It helps a lot to reduce the water content, especially when necessary. must be done very slowly. It is used to gently clean the bottom of the pot or casserole and to evenly distribute the mixture
