Removing and installing the ball joint is MUCH EASIER than using a regular ball joint tool kit. Jeep & Dodge folks, you need this tool.

Receiver cup warped on second use

2003 Jeep TJ Available The first ball joint removal was pretty easy. When removing the second ball joint, the receiving cup simply deforms and bends under pressure. waste of money.

Bearing cup deformed after repeated use

Cheap quality but worked in a stalemate.

Used a more expensive set for several years until it was stolen a few months ago. I cheated to save a buck and got this one thinking it would be the same, but it isn't. The 1st ball ran smoothly, the 2nd ball on the driver's side completely destroyed the large holder when it was removed. I will endeavor to provide a replacement or refund.

Definitely made the job easier; but the installation of the cup is rather weak.

This kit definitely helped with removing and installing the ball joints on my Jeep JK Unlimited Sport. The move went perfectly. 3 stars because the mounting cup expands when you squeeze the bottom ball joints. Luckily I was able to use another pickup cup from a rental press (O'Reilly's) to finish the job.
