Ideal for removing stubborn compression sleeves.

Ideal for removing stuck compression sleeves. I had to file the inside of the copper tube to allow the metal support plug to go inside the tube. The copper pipe was rolled from a cutting tool used in building the house. I believe this will be a general problem. Just follow the instructions or videos.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Transparent film

Easy to use in pullers

I used it to remove a compression ring from an old compression valve. At first I thought this would be the hardest part, but using this tool turned out to be the easiest! Tools can be used to remove faucet covers but I have not used them for this purpose. it is much easier to use.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No.

Works, but. best of pullers

I bought this to remove ferrules/sleeves from sink lines. And it worked. I assume this isn't necessary, but you'll need to remove the "wings" to get them out of the way, which will take a minute or two. It took some effort!), as a result the tip stretched over the steel block and hooked it quite hard. no big deal, you just have to get rid of it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Out of style

A reliable tool at any price.

The flared nut on my pipe was on a tile that was probably added later. There was no gap behind the mother, no. Nobody needs this tool. I have no doubt about that for the rest of my life. If you think two handles are used to remove the nut and ring then you are wrong. Watch a video from the manufacturer. So I'm really glad I didn't pay 5x too much for a "different" crowfoot animal that wouldn't work without a gap behind the nut. Also, I don't understand how this $12 tool can fail.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Without machine

Cheap and functional.

I replaced the plumbing fixture under the kitchen sink. They didn't have check valves so I bought new ones with check valves. After 10+ years these tips would NOT move. I struggled for 45 minutes to pry them out with a couple of "wrongly sized" pullers, a pair of pliers, and a few well-placed curses, and finally succeeded. I saw this little gem and thought it would light up the other side. It works out! So easy it was almost fun this time. The little squeegee isn't fancy, but it's sturdy and…

  • High marks for hold and durability from testers

Solves the old compression ring problem once and for all!

This tool works perfectly and saves me the trouble of damaging tubes and spending time with old rusted compression rings. Every DIYer who has replaced a home-made copper fitting has had to deal with a stuck compression ring. Pliers/vices can compress the pipe, one movement of the cutting wheel with a dremel and you will score the pipe. If you're trying to use a typical valve puller, you'll have to do your best to keep the "levers" on the nut. The thread adapter of this superior puller allows it

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some small things

Ideal for removing old compression check valves. A few application tips.

I have used this tool to successfully remove 6 old compression check valves which must be over 15 years old. It has metric threads but works seamlessly with standard US fittings. It screwed in very well, with plenty of turns, just enough to secure for tip removal. Unscrew it from the side pullers that just get in the way. You only need the center piece. For work with a small gap upstream of the valve, purchase an M10-1.5 x 45mm metric hex head bolt from a hardware store to replace the center…

  • Heavy Duty Construction

Mandatory Compression Ring/Ferrule/Bushing Removal Tool

I used this tool to replace 5 corner stops/check valves along with compression rings and water supply hoses at my house in March 2021 and the compression rings/ferrules came off very easily . My house was built in 1980 and the compression rings were original. I'm not the first owner of the house, but I can say that the valves were replaced once, but the compression rings were not. I was skeptical about this product at first glance, but for the price I think it was worth a try. I'm so glad I…
