The sensor feels accurate and responsive and the app connects easily. Unfortunately, the fixed rate of the thermometer itself does NOT allow you to remotely control temperature/humidity. You have to pay a monthly fee for this. It's not worth it. If you want something you can only test at home, just buy a regular $5 thermometer.

Set up in seconds, added directly to my SmartHome app, which I already use for my outdoor sockets. The pace is accurate. I paid an additional $1.20 for 6 months of SMS notification service (prefer this over app push notifications). Set an alarm when the temperature drops below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. I did it, pretty easy.

This device works as advertised. The Tuya app (SmartHome) has a switch that allows you to change the outlet temperature from C to F. The SmartHome app (to control home automation devices) seems to be the best on the market. It is very easy to use and very reliable. If you turn off the power or the Internet connection, this device reconnects to the network without your intervention. This does not necessarily apply to other automation devices using other applications.
