Sturdy but not what I needed

This is a quality hinged wall mount that should have been perfect for my needs. However, the switch I wanted to install wouldn't plug into the power cord at 19 inches deep, so I returned it unused. I have studied these items enough to appreciate the good quality if I had opted for a deeper wall. the bracket or my switch would be a bit smaller, that would be perfect.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Modern

If you only need to mount one or two panels on the wall.

Needed support for a 2U RJ panel in my basement. It helps. Easy installation, comes with 2 mounting screws for solid or drywall and panel mounting screws for whatever you use for support. High quality, sturdy, just what I needed.

  • Excellent design

Very simple design and easy to set up.

I decided to bring Cat 6 to my home so I bought this patch panel on recommendation. So far it has served me well. All spaghetti goes through the back. Numbered connections are color-coded, easy-to-read connection types. Impact tool "crown" helps to make connections quickly. On the front you have clean patch cords connected to the unmanaged switch. After all, it looks much more professional.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Not the best

Works well as a light-weight patch panel

This is not a heavy-duty panel in terms of metal thickness and is intended for lighter 1U and 2U devices such as a patch panel and a small light-weight switch. I use it in my tech closet in my house for my whole house audio system and to host a 16 port Netgear switch. It's movable, so you can rotate it and get to the back of the patch panel.

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • For older

Well done, but could it be put together better?

I bought this to install a 24 port keystone patch panel. This hanging wall mount did the job. - 1 star only because I think they could have done the hinge tolerances better. The hinge sags very noticeably when my mounted patch panel is not screwed on both ends. The paintwork is good, the screws supplied are good and all the threaded holes are well finished. I would buy again despite the sagging loop.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Too dumb

Good overall - sag when open

Used for a 1U keystone patch panel. I agree with the other reviewer, it sags in the open position. The downside could/should be stronger. Due to the weight of the patch panel and the additional trapezoidal connectors, the panel began to bend. I had to go ahead and screw the strut to the closed position to finish inserting my harness bushings. This makes routing cables and plugging in connectors a bit more difficult.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Functionality
