great concept, but unfortunately, the top of the toy above the eyes is a spot that is easily torn apart. The tentacles will last for a long time, but it's not going to be too long for you before the stuffing is everywhere and the octopus no longer has a head.trust me.I'd recommend opting for a starfish (same idea without a head) instead of an octopus shape for a Tuffy toy, speaking from experience.

I was extremely excited to get this tuffy for him. He had the the rated 10 tiger ring; and it lasted several months. So I was excited to get him this with its arms, I felt it would entertain he more. I know it wouldn’t last forever; but not under 2 hrs. MI saw an weak area on top where you can hang it. So I cut that loop off, hopeing he would concentrate somewhere else . No such luck. !

Lased 2 days before my dog was able to get the stuffing out but he still loves playing with it. Great tug of war material. This didn't get 5 stars only because it's supposed to stand up to dogs that tear up toys but it didn't last that long. 4 stars because it's a cool design and is indeed durable even when playing tug of war. Will buy again once it is no longer usable.

We bought this toy for our dog because we wanted to get him something indestructible. This toy is definitely indestructible but it's very big -- too big for our 95 pound dog. We find that he doesn't play with it very often because he can't chew it and he can't hold it in his mouth very easily. Should've gone for something a little smaller.

I have a lab and a Rottweiler-Chow Mix. This octopus (now called Fred), has held up for months to the two dogs playing tug-of-war. All the squeakers are miraculously still in place and operational. I would never have dreamed that the dogs that usually kill a toy in under 30 seconds, would still have this toy months later in almost perfect condition. Tuffy's toys are the best for my Rottie. 4 stars for this one because twice the seam at the base of the head has started to come apart - it can be easily repaired. Nice large toy.

Great tough dog toy, but unfortunately our dog ripped it to shreds in the space of ten minutes. We've yet to find a toy she cannot destroy at this point, and I'd bet most dogs would have a tough time with this one.

Well. This was disappointing. My vet recommended this toy for my 3 year old pit bull as a possible stress/anxiety reliever. He was really excited to play with it because it's HUGE. I had high hopes after he tried tugging and chewing.it looked like the Octopus was going to make it. That is until he got ahold of the underside of the head. Then it was toast. Man there is a lot of stuffing in there. But he likes playing with the rest of it, so not a total loss.

The first Octopus Tiger we ordered arrived with 3" of the seam connecting the head to the legs not sewn together. We repaired it but the head did not last very long before the seam was open, the stuffing torn out, and the head ripped off. Yes, we needed a super tough dog toy for our terrier. Yes, she prefers soft dog toys. But we made the mistake of allowing her to chew on it without active play, and she managed to rip away at the cloth on the head, and rip out that poor octopus' stuffing for brains. My GSD loves this toy; and, I love it too because I can grab ahold of two legs and wrap them around my pups head, or mouth. The long legs make it a great toy for tug and interaction games with your pup or dog. I pick up the toy and place it on top of my dogs old pup crate when we are done playing; and, when pup wants to play with it again, he can go grab it. I always supervise his play with it even though it is a level 10 Tuffy. I want it to last a long life. Pup loves playing with the big head
