Great toy! for my opinion

Our 8 month old hound LOVES this thing. Seems very durable - he had managed to "kill" a squeaker, but other than that it is holding up well. Not sure how super aggressive chewers would handle it, but he hasn't been able to shred any part of it yet!

Pros
  • Its soft exterior makes it gentle on your dog's teeth and gums
Cons
  • The toy's stiffness can cause joint pain for older dogs or dogs with preexisting medical conditions

Not worth your money

We bought this product for our Newfoundland Great Pyrenees mix for his 1st birthday because the Tuff rating is a 10, has no stuffing & squeaks. He played for 15 minutes with it before we had to take it away because he chewed a hole & exposed the squeaker compartment. So much for another indestructible toy.

Pros
  • It's a great toy for dogs who enjoy playing independently
Cons
  • The TUFFY toy's stiffness can cause the dog to lose interest or become bored during playtime

It is definitely tuff

This brand does last longer with my dogs. They are voracious shedders of toys. the reinforced edges are a major plus.Really wish there wasn't stuffing in these toys. Eventually my dogs start to work the quilted felt in a small area to tear open a hold. Soon after out comes the stuffing. Such a pain to clean up.

Pros
  • The TUFFY toy is machine washable, making it easy to keep clean after your pup has had a good play session
Cons
  • The toy's design is not ergonomic or easy to grip, making it challenging for the dog to play with

It can stand up to our dog-shaped-alligator during play

About a month and a half ago we adopted what was then an 8 month old hound mix from the pound (now 10 months old). Within the first week she'd plowed through every soft toy we offered her - including actually /eating/ a limb off of one stuffed toy. After that we were at a loss of what to do - stuffed toys were her favorite, but we couldn't have her swallowing them.Enter Tuffy.I want to note beforehand that these toys are NOT chew toys. We do NOT leave our dog with them unsupervised, and take…

Pros
  • It's available in a variety of fun and colorful designs, so you can find the perfect one to suit your pup's personality
Cons
  • The TUFFY toy's flatness can cause issues with a dog's depth perception during play

Not very tough good for me

I ordered this toy for my dog because it has no stuffing and a durability rating of 10. My dog was squeaking the toy and the orange fabric simply ripped from that chewing-type motion, under my supervision. This is NOT TOUGH. I have gotten numerous tuffy toys, which are now gone, but this toy is very disappointing because it is supposed to be the toughest and there is no stuffing to pull out. The seams began to fray from my dog playing with the squeakers and I fear he will completely tear the…

Pros
  • The lack of stuffing eliminates the need to clean up any fluff messes
Cons
  • The TUFFY toy's excessive stiffness can cause discomfort while cuddling or snuggling

Durable for the strongest chewers

One of the only toys my dog couldn't tear up within an hour. This lasted about 2 months! Which is unheard of with my dog! Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • T-NS-MG-R-TG
Cons
  • The TUFFY toy breaks apart easily, posing a choking hazard to the dog

Mikey Likes It!: my feedback

My Rottweiler really enjoys this toy. This is his third or fourth one but considering he is a Rottie it lasts longer than most his other soft toys.

Pros
  • Squeak Toys
Cons
  • The TUFFY toy's texture attracts dirt and grime easily, making it difficult to keep clean

Best toys for tough chewers!

We had one of these for 8 years and 3 dogs. Finally had a puppy get through the edges. Toughest toys made. We have 4 toys by Tuffy and all are super tuff. The dogs love them!

Pros
  • Dogs
Cons
  • The TUFFY toy's design is not aesthetically pleasing, making it unattractive to customers

Read the Description

Read the description before you buy. My Rottie loved this toy it’s a great toy to play WITH your dog. BUT understand that it CLEARLY states in the description that this is a INTERACTIVE TOY and CLEARLY states in the description that this is NOT a Chew Toy. So my pics I share are of the toy ripped because I left him with the toy to play with alone. When playing with him with the toy it was fine. Again this is NOT a chew toy.

Pros
  • Its durable construction can save you money in the long-term on toy replacement costs
Cons
  • The toy's lack of an interactive component for solo play can limit the dog's enjoyment

Do not buy for large dogs!

Unfortunately this is not the toy for my dogs. They ripped it apart in about 10 minutes. would be a good toy for a small/medium size dog possibly.

Pros
  • It's perfect for interactive play with your furry friend, allowing you to toss, tug, and fetch to your heart's content
Cons
  • The toy's size makes it a nuisance to take on walks or trips

One tough donut! best in my review

This is definitely a tough toy. Our dog isn't hugely interested in it.probably because there is no stuffing for her to throw all around the room. But it is well made and should last a long time.

Pros
  • It's perfect for dogs who love to play rough and tumble
Cons
  • The toy's lack of sound features can make it less stimulating for the dog mentally
