This storage box is the best, it fits under my triple trunk lid, only took 10 minutes to install, no adjustment needed, folds back easily and fits in all the crap that I had in my back Seat. Buy another one for the passenger side. Highly recommended.

I rated it 3 stars for wasting my time. I want companies to remember that there is nothing more precious to a person than their time. Had to buy it, open it up and found it doesn't fit my new 2019 Tacoma despite the description on the website. The included instructions have an "upgrade" saying it will work with the 2019 Tacoma, but that's self-explanatory when you open the box and still see the contents. 1. Update your web description. 2. Recommend this product for newer Tacomas models.

I really wanted this so I spent the money. Couldn't be happier. I think they are overpriced but they are great tool boxes. They don't have as much storage space as a regular tool box. The instructions for this product are: Remove the screws from the driver's side storage compartment to attach the latches. I have a 2021 TRD Sport and my truck does not have a driver's side compartment - I would need to look at the location of the latch. Not the most difficult task, but since you'll have to drill sheet metal screws into the bed of a new 40k truck, you'll want to get it right. There is no template or anything in the kit to line up this thing so I decided to just return it.

Works. Fits my Tacoma with the existing screws around the factory boxes on either side, plus 4 new holes drilled for the hinge. Self-tapping screw when it's easy. Generally easy to install. The place is quite usable. I wish the plastic was sturdier. It feels like a few seasons in the sun and it can get brittle.
