    you really need it!

    I wasn't sure if this would work as intended. Be sure it is. I mounted my CB on the center console and clipped it to the truck or belt and you can listen or speak as needed. Not sure about the range, but I can drive at least 100 feet inside my house with the truck locked and the windows open and I can still monitor the radio. Great value and necessity.

    Great microphone! good for CB and radio

    So you can use either the speaker on the radio or the speaker on the microphone or both to avoid confusion. Just turn up the volume of what you like and turn down the volume of what you don't like. All in all, this is a great microphone. The only thing I would like to see repeated several times is the exercises while sitting in a cradle. Otherwise a very good microphone.

    It really works! Best in CB and radio

    I was a bit skeptical. They were easy to use and understand. I will compare this mike to the astatic street devil, the aires power mike and the standard mike, am and ssb. This isn't a bluetooth connection so using this mike didn't cause crosstalk. You can boost the Rx level up or down with the push of a button. It is very comfortable. The sound is pretty clear.     I'm glad I bought this

    This was a great solution for me as my base station was upstairs and I didn't have to climb stairs for every incoming call. The microphone sounds good and the battery lasts a reasonable amount of time. I really appreciate the FIND tone for easy location when needed. I found the range to be exactly as advertised. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because it needs a few tweaks like noise reduction controls and channel switching on the mic. That would make it heavy and a bit more expensive, but…

    The stand/docking station won't charge it!

    This will be a handy microphone for me. But the dock should charge it, not just hold it. And if you have a compatible Bearcat radio, the DECT radio should be built in, eliminating the need for a cable and docking station. In a way, this negates some of the benefits of wireless. I think the true wireless connection with the Bearcat 980 and compact charging station will really set it apart from the competition. Draft.

    Edit 7/1/19: Frustrated, went back to using the default mic

    Edit: The wires in the coiled cord are too weak to withstand even casual use. One of the conductors broke the solder in the connector last year, after a thorough repair of the conductor and strengthening of the strain relief it broke again a year later. The conductors are made of "wire", which is primarily fiber rather than copper, making a solid solder joint extremely difficult to achieve. The OEM microphone is used again in my PRO520XL.     Wow! This device (Wireless Microphone "CB" Uniden BC906W) is AMAZING! I am NOT a "CB" operator but I am an amateur radio operator and watched a youtube video that describes how to change the 6 pin mic connector to an 8 pin mic connector for use with the ICOM IC-7300 . .     I bought this Uniden CB wireless mic to complement my 980 SSB radio. I'm usually the trail leader on our off-road adventures and needed something to help with communication when the trail was iffy.
