Foot/Shoe Sweat: Shoes

Allow 10 minutes longer to put on your cycling shoes. it takes some time And almost difficult and time-consuming start. Works well in the rain but your feet will sweat to get your shoes wet. I have used DeFeet knitted overshoes and I think I prefer them over latex material. upset.

Pros
  • Inexpensive
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other models

Fragile and unfit for cycling

The material from which this item is made is barely stronger than a standard balloon. When I first put them on over my shoes, they constantly warped and stretched. Also, you might think they are waterproof. However, this is categorically not true: the first time I put them on in the rain, my feet got wet. I bought these to improve my visibility to following traffic. Too bad they only survived a few trips. Spend your money elsewhere.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Hard to say

Too much work for any benefit.

Can't say for sure how well they will protect your feet. I couldn't wear them. I bought the XL thinking they were narrow. I barely got to my feet and rolled down. They kept hanging on my socks. When I finally got them on and off, I could barely put them on. Since I went up a size there was a lot of extra length. I couldn't fix it. When I tried to take them off I was afraid I would have to cut them off. Maybe I am, but not worth putting them on and taking them off.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

They are good for what they are

They are good for what they are, they are thin latex that fully covers your shoes and protects them from rain and cold. They also match oversized shoes that are hard to find. They definitely take a lot of work to stay pretty and are difficult to put on. They also need brushing and powdering to really last a decent amount of time, but after that they're great for repeated use. They're also very cheap, so if you take the kit apart it's not a terrible loss. I've had 4 or 5 rides with them and they

Great for what it is.

I bought these anticipating a long day in the saddle and the possibility of rain/mud/puddle. Although the rain stopped when I hit the road, it was still pretty damp and my feet stayed dry all day (+/- 8 hours). My feet sweat, but not much, and they stay "dry" on the outside, which is always a real problem. Time and stretch, they are great for your needs. Other than that, they're definitely not the most durable thing I've bought for cycling, but they're great for their purpose and I highly…
