Strong, durable pans

These pans are great. People who complain about food sticking to them obviously don't understand how stainless steel works. It's not non-stick, and it shouldn't be. You need to heat them up and add fat/oil before cooking.

  • Complete set
Cons
  • Hard to remember, but it was

Prepare to boil the vinegar and water to clean.

When we were cooking scrambled eggs in our old cheap set, we were able to wash them with soap and water in less than a minute. Vikings literally take over 20 minutes! You shouldn't use items like steel wool to clean, which is why they recommend water mixed with vinegar. YOU KNOW IT'S A PROBLEM! I paid about $1000 for a regular set and 2 extra pots, for that price they should clean themselves.

Great for things like soups

I've been a family cook for 30 years, this is the third set I've owned. I used to have Cuisinart. The most beautiful pans I have ever used. They heat up evenly. You feel the heat not only on the bottom, but also on the walls of the pan. Great for things like soups, tomato sauce, low and slow. Some families have been wondering how to fry an egg without nonstick, make sure the pan is hot, some oil or pam and a nice egg sunny side up. There is no buyer's regret here.

  • Pleasant

The best pots and pans

These are the nicest pots and pans I have ever used. Unlike cheaper kits that only have the bottom pieces layered, they're also layered on the sides, meaning they heat evenly and stay warm longer even when not heating up. They clean in a snap, look pretty enough to fit right on the table for a casual meal, and are generally pleasant to use. Shame I didn't spend money on them years ago as I expect them to last the rest of my life (I'm in my 30s so I hope they will last).

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Little things

The pot handles will burn your hands

For the most part I think this set will last around 2 months but there is one major downside - the pot I use to boil water just isn't manageable. without handles. hands become boiling hot. For the price I would expect this set to be made from much better materials and construction. The pot included in the $600 cookware set must have handles that can withstand high temperatures. The tech here could be a lot better and I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you want something of quality in this price

Patience rewards the best cookware

I'm ashamed of how many cookware sets I've looked at, read the reviews. In the end I am (so far) very happy with my choice. I wanted 18/10 stainless steel, but I know I'm too compulsive to deal with the inevitable stains that won't come off and bother me every time I use the pan. (Ask anyone about stainless steel, they stain!) But I didn't want Teflon. I love the stainless steel interior and the pots and pans with the stain-resistant charcoal finish. They're not too heavy and the handles don't…

Terrible purchase - cookware

My husband bought me this set for Christmas. They looked beautiful out of the box. Until you cook with them. Everything sticks to these pots. All! Washing them is a nightmare. They are not cleaned with just soap and water. You MUST have bartenders clean them after each use. They look nice after you've cleaned them with bartenders, but the next time you use them, they're going back to landfill. They're also quite heavy and take a good five minutes to peel off the film that sticks to the pan…

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • No machine

Unbelievable. Great cookware

I'm a cooking student. I needed good cookware and this was recommended to me. I'm particularly impressed by the depth of quality. These pots are heavy, very well built. When you take one, you can feel the quality. The pans cook evenly, only over medium heat, which is a nice surprise since you don't have to overheat the pan to cook it. The heat is distributed very well on each pan, the pans are easy to clean in the sink and in the dishwasher. Just make sure you get them out of the dishwasher…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Exchange possible

My new favorite cookware!

I received this kit and immediately seasoned each pan individually by heating each pan over high heat for 2 minutes, then added the coconut oil and spread it evenly on the inside of the pan distributed, including sides and top edges. I continued to heat it vigorously until the oil started smoking. I then turned off the heat and let the pot cool completely. Once the coconut oil had solidified and the pan was completely cool, I used paper towels to wipe off the excess oil and then used more paper

  • Enjoyable
