Warn Best in Snow & Ice Skid Boots

Replacement skid boots arrived on time as stated by the seller. And they appear to be just as functional and high quality as the original.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Looks like a winner

In my opinion they look and feel exactly like the originals that came with the plow. Took about 5 minutes to swap them out on both sides and I'm ready to pound some snow again without ruining my gravel driveway.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Spare legs for warning plow

They are great! I haven't installed them yet but I know it will be a 5 minute job. I ride 2 miles on a gravel road so my legs wear out about every 2 years. So glad to have them in stock this year.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Almost right.

The snow plow shoes were not the diameter of the tines that fit into the slots on the mouldboard. I had to take them and cut the old posts off the old safety shoes and the new ones and weld the normal ones to the new ones. You must add dimensions to the information.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some problems

Not suitable for Polaris Glacier Plow.

This is a good sled for heavy duty applications. I think they will wear very well. Unfortunately, they didn't fit my glacier plow until I significantly reduced the diameter of the shafts. The price seems a bit high (just under $40) given the simplicity of the parts, otherwise I would have given it a 4 star rating.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The product is good, but I order the second time.

Good product but I am ordering a second time because one of them broke. I've been using the plow for the last year or more so maybe it was just wear and tear. I have used my plow several times this year and the new plow is holding up well. I hope to make more use of them than the first set. Also, all things break down once you get used to them.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Fits perfectly. Replaced the bent shaft and here they are.

Perfect fit. I replaced the bent shaft and they lasted all season and it was winter with quite a bit of snow. (It's snowing again right now - March 1st!) The only reason this isn't a five star rating is that the clutch pins are a bit too small. I replaced them with heavier pins from the farm equipment store (29 cents) and am very satisfied. On our gravel track the shoes only last 2-3 seasons but since the shaft stayed straight I plan on using hard coated stick beads. down in the off-season…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No show

Plow Skids - Consumables for plows

I had to buy several of these kits. I plow gravel and concrete and they wear out pretty quickly (two sets a year). But I found a solution for that. I simply use a hard coated welding rod (used on tractor blades etc to slow wear) and hard coat the underside of the blades. These blades are well made and will last as long as the metal doesn't wear out. Please note the picture shows some type of bracket which is not included and the clamps are bolt style not what is shown in the picture. Came…

Pros
  • Fits me perfectly
Cons
  • No instructions
