This blanket perfectly insulates your Coleman camping stove when camping. The cover is not fiberglass, so the fiberglass is not lost. It is easily cut and fastened with metalized high temperature tape. Without this blanket as an insulator, the camping stove just sucks.

I've been looking everywhere for some kind of fireproof mat to put under the fireplace I have on my wood deck. This fabric rug is fireproof, I tested it by lighting a fire on it. It transfers heat through the fabric, the fabric heats up but the flame doesn't burn it and keeps it away from what's under the carpet.

I have been looking for a product to put between the Traeger Smoker and my house to protect my house from the heat. That works great. When my smoker cooks my food I checked the heat between the wall of my house and this ceiling and there is no heat in the house. That doesn't surprise me, because the smoker never gets to the heat of the weld.

No specific blanket for my RecTec RT-590 and they say they won't be releasing any by the end of this year. Decided to try this as a cheap alternative and so far it's working great. I still keep it out of the wind but can easily get to 375 for steaks (charcoal plates) when needed and easily maintains the smoke temperature even in single digit weather. This was not the case before.

I bought this as a cheaper "thermal cover" for my Yoder smoker. I am very impressed with the thickness and quality of the weld overlay. This significantly reduces pellet consumption and also helps the smoker heat up more easily and maintain the temperature. The OEM thermal cover is $250, so it wasn't an easy alternative. I took some strong magnets to hold it in place and I'm done. Can't tell what it's for, but for the pellet smoker it works great!

I was looking for something that would keep the heat from my grill from overheating my composite (Timbertec/Azek) rails. I'm short on space and the grill is inches from the rail. I ordered one of the welder's blankets and it seems to be doing its job well. The rail will feel hot when grilled at 600 degrees. I ordered a second double and the splint does not heat up at all. Needed a barrier between BBQ grill pan/box and propane tank due to wear on the shield in the layer under the burners. The tank was very hot from above and its further use was unsafe.
