The best option for cats

I've been looking for a good cat tracker for a long time and this is by far the best option on the market today. I have a street cat that I constantly worry about if everything is okay with her. This product gave me peace of mind. It's tracked from anywhere using the service and has an easy-to-use app that tells you exactly where they are if you want to know. It also makes it easy to call my cat at night. I would suggest buying one of the bright colors so it's easy to see if you lose it…

DO NOT UPDATE IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A WHISTLE 3 - IT'S MUCH WORSE

I had a Whistle 3 for my girls and loved them - no kidding I've saved their lives a few times since they became masters were fleeing and we are in the mountains. Without the whistle they would never have been found. So I figured I was just upgrading for battery life and feature gains - a terrible mistake. Don't buy the updated version of Whistle (pro) - it doesn't work! But this one is great!

I'm not a robot to write a fake review - I'm a SoCal human :-) I originally bought a more expensive version of this whistle but it worked horribly. The system didn't tell me my dog left or entered the invisible fence until I was MILES from my home (the invisible fence). Worst customer service ever!

I am returning this unit and my whistle subscription CX. It's amazing how little their customer support knew about the product. She couldn't help but understand the simple explanation that the app was only tracking my phone and not the whistle tracker. The app showed my dog living across the street and tracked me and my phone around the house and safe area. The tracker was never tracked while loading. It didn't live up to my original expectations.

My Whistle Go arrived quickly and was excited to fit my Miniature Pinscher. I charged it for the recommended time (2 hours) and a notification was sent to my phone that it was fully charged. I unplugged it from the charging cable and noticed a plastic connector underneath the device that fits into a notch on the collar. Upon inspection it turned out to be cracked. Inaccurate After 1.5 months --> Notifications EVERY 3 MIN

VERY INACCURATE AND SUCH ANNOYING THIRD UPDATE: After a month and a half it has been sending notifications more than 30-40 times a day per week and saying that our cat wanders within 1/2 mile of our house, note that she stays in our garage most of the day or is in our yard (1/2 acre) so she shouldn't have as much activity reading. My primary concern is the safety of my dog. Unfortunately, in September 2019, Whistle made a technical update that caused a 5-7 minute response delay from the moment the device exited the safe zone and returned. A delay of 5-7 minutes can mean half a mile or more if your dog is on the run. I've communicated with tech support 3 times since I bought my device in August 2019 and they just replied "We made the product TOO GOOD and the tech fix has no timeline for that."
