Very handy for many wire projects

These are a handy pair of pliers. I use them for everything from wire projects (jewelry) to making wire hangers and figured Qs for stained glass panels and frames. The handles are comfortable and the coating makes it easy to grip, while the thin tip helps get into places where the standard needle tip is too thick to fit.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Slim profile makes them a winner

My first pair of pliers was Beadaholique Beadsmith Jeweler's Micro Pliers Chain Flat Nose. After it broke I switched to Lindstom's Supreme which I still like but is much more expensive. One of my favorite youtubers uses these xurons a lot and I got curious. I really like the thinner head profile. They are quite comfortable in the hand, maybe a bit big/uncomfortable for some as the jaws open quite wide. The spring mechanism is smooth-running.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Needle nose pliers at Power & Hand Tools

I love these pliers so much I bought two pairs, one for each hand! I then showed them to my friend who immediately said she MUST have these for herself too so I bought her a pair as a Christmas present and she was so happy to get them too. They are wonderful to work with and make jewellery, which makes them so much more enjoyable and easier for me. I would recommend these pliers to anyone in the jewelry business!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Is it weird to be in awe of pliers?

I've had them for a few months now. I use them ALL. DAY. Daily. I braid at night to relax and whether I'm making wire or just messing around with wire for pearl earrings or messing around with a clasp for something. does not matter. These are the first pliers I reach for. The two surfaces match perfectly, they APPEAR fragile or can be bent, but they are of good quality; They're not going anywhere, and the little tiny beaks ensure you can reach things you normally encounter. I love them so much…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Excellent quality wire braiding tool

Excellent wire wrapping tool! Good nib, fits the hand perfectly. This is a well made product strong enough to bend the Dead Soft 20 ga wire used on the wrap in the photo but was purchased for use with 30 ga wire. They easily grip thin wire, making it easier to work in small areas. This tool will make wire braiding a lot easier and I'll definitely be buying another pair just in case! I could bend 20ga but I have other tools for this size and just wanted to test them. They arrived very quickly…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was some

Very thin, good quality pliers for making jewelry from fine wire.

These are very thin pliers designed for thin wire and get the job done perfectly. The reason they don't get 5 stars is that the jaws have fairly sharp edges on the sides and very easily leave marks on any metal they grip, although they are very gentle. I've used them a few times with 18g wire for some things they work better for, but in general they really shouldn't be used with more than 20g wire. Be careful with the edges of the jaws, because they are very sharp. I will most likely wrap them…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Zero

I did my best. the best pliers

Trying to buy an American. but the Xuron line didn't work for me, that's why; - The blue grips are velvety smooth, have no swelling or contour, my hand constantly slides on the bar. - The opening spring is cut straight, and its edge is opposite the handle, peeling paint and feeling like sand. Jaws open too wide. (annoying and clumsy) - All the hinges were covered in oil. I also bought the Italian CHP Hakko. - The handle's red material grabs you from behind and has a bulge that allows you to…

Pros
  • Light Touch return springs offer maximum ease of use.
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Such an amazing potential wasted due to a terrible design change.

Wow, they took a great product and blew it up using a new (junk) soft recoil spring. Xuron please PLEASE discard this thin new type of spring and go back to a thicker and stronger one. They are so springy that when I hold them partially compressed in my hand they tend to fall out. Worse, the compression is non-linear, it actually goes from soft to even softer as it's compressed. This is poor tactile feedback. For a tweezer-based tool, you need enough strength to stay in your hand. You don't…

Pros
  • Thin enough to easily grip a human hair, tighten thread, flatten the ends of copper wire, or thread a tested cable through a pipe.
Cons
  • No gun

How did I get along without her for so long!?

I do a few hobby electronics projects and I usually use precision tweezers to grab surface mount devices like resistors, capacitors and small ICs and solder small jumpers when needed. I've been doing it this way for many years. While the precision of fine tweezers is remarkable, they lack the gripping power and rigidity of pliers. Buying these pliers with tweezers was the second best thing I have ever done for electronics work (best to use the right soldering iron). They give you a high level…

Pros
  • Xuro Rudber soft grips provide operator comfort.
