Deep spout. Outside only.

To be honest, this product has a really bad reputation. I needed a 17mm deep well head. Up until this point I had been working with older tools, so I figured a deeper socket meant the hex went deeper. You know, like every old deep socket I have. nope The hexagon ends at the top. This is just to increase the range from the outside, which is stupid because I have extensions for that.

This is an outlet. on individual power heads

I gave a gift 5 stars but if you give someone an outlet don't be surprised if they give you a duster! This is the master socket. It is designed for a ⅜ drive ratchet and an 8mm hex. So it is exactly as advertised. But. I worked in the hardware department at Sears when I was in college (yes, that was about 30 years ago). Flare inner hole less than 14mm

I bought this flare because it was cheap and I knew I would trim the flare to make a "deep well 1/2 1". /2 shallow nest because my shoals are too shallow and the pits are too deep. Obviously the craftsman wanted to save costs and prevent the 14mm hex head from continuing through the entire socket. When I finished cutting the socket I was greeted with a nice big cock. My wrench set fit almost perfectly, as did my Stanley and even my old kit. I figured at least one outlet would be regular…
