I bought this DVD burner thinking it would burn CDs and DVDs. The programs supplied were not burned onto CD-R or RW. It doesn't even erase DVD-RW or CD-RW. This is the perfect addition for anyone who owns a laptop with a FireWire or USB 2.0 port. For a FireWire connection you will need a 4 pin to 6 pin FireWire cable as the kit comes with 6 to 6 pins. For those with limited space, consider a smaller outdoor model or an indoor model.
