Wrong part for my car

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 (V6 3.7L). According to the description it fits my car. It is not. The pictures clearly show the 3-pin connector. Unfortunately the connector in my car is only wide enough for 2 pins (actually it only has 1). Ran to Orielli and got the right part for $13. The good news is that swapping out only takes a few minutes (if you have a 27mm deep socket) - there's nothing to move or unplug. So if it fails again, it's not that hard to replace.

Mopar 5149062AA Engine Oil Pressure Sensor

Good replacement for the original oil pressure sensor for 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4X4. A little difficult to install; had to go through the same oil change shutdown because the 4X4 transmission was in the way. It works very well after clearing the oil pressure sensor code. I recommend an oil pressure gauge head (Lisle 13250 oil pressure gauge bushing) or you can use a regular 1 1/16" deep head. The extra 2 items make the change much easier.

Use 27mm to remove the factory installed sensor. OEM

The original factory installed sensor on my 2007 Magnum did not fit snugly in the 1-1/16" socket. So I had to go back to the store to buy a 27mm head to take it off. But this Mopar 5149062AA works with both 27mm and 1-1/16" sockets. This new device works well as it should. The check engine light is now off. I hope this can last for many years. Be sure to reset or clear the DTC (P0524) on the OBD2 after installing a new pressure sensor. Updated June 12, 2020: It's already broken. Used only 3…

The dreaded oil pressure warning light has been solved!

Oil pressure sensors in Chrysler products can begin to leak, resulting in intermittent or complete failure, causing the oil pressure warning lights on the instrument panel to illuminate. Exchange locations are always a challenge, so selecting OEM parts offers the best chance of avoiding aftermarket failures and repeating the hassle of doing the job twice. Note that the original sender is a full hex code, so special sender sockets will not work to remove them. The deep hitting head suited me…

Code P0520 on Ram 1500

My service light came on on my 2013 Ram 1500. (5.7) The code returned is p0520, which is the oil pressure sensor. I can do it myself and that's it. You will need a 1-1/16 deep outlet and possibly a step stool. The sensor is located above the oil filter on the front of the engine. The connector is a bit tricky to remove, but you simply lift the gray tab (not too hard) and pull the connector out. Unscrew the old sensor and screw in the new one. I don't know what the torque is, so I twisted it…

this is work - Oil Pressure

I'm not afraid to take things apart and try to fix them myself. But it was a bit more than I expected. The part is located at the very back of the engine, between the engine block and the bulkhead. To access this you will need to remove the upper and lower air intake manifolds from the engine. yes engine This keeps your bottles open for a period of time. I was able to replace the part and put everything back together. But it took HOURS longer than I expected. It also led me to other issues that
