There is no separate audio output. HDMI output only.

I bought this player to replace my original LG 3D player after it stopped working (less than 2 years). I wanted to save money by buying it here instead of Best Buy where what I wanted was about $110. Anyway, I thought I got a deal here, but I've learned you get what you pay for. Choose HDMI output only. No digital audio or component audio output. I had to spend an extra $20 on an HDMI audio splitter so I could route audio to my Bose system and lost all the "savings" I had when I bought it from…

Great picture, smart features that made me put off buying a Smart TV. Software updates are installed fairly quickly over Wi-Fi. You can access many services like Netflix, Hulu and more and recently YouTube. I bought this to replace a SONY Blu-ray player that was very picky about the discs it wanted to play (I got so fed up I checked it out, although it still worked when I wanted it) and it's definitely a lot more reliable than my old one. You can download the app to control the player from your

Great player, slow wi-fi

Luckily I have a smart TV so I don't have to use WIFI apps on it. I thought I would try WIFI apps on it and they are really really slow for me. Netflix barley is loaded. Would have gotten a 4 star rating if it wasn't for the WIFI. /10Video 10/10Audio 10/10Playback in all three formats is excellent. I had no problems. So far I've seen 47 Ronin 3D, Man of Steel 3D, both Thor movies in 3D and now I'm watching Crank 1 on a standard Blu-Ray and it plays perfectly. So if you need a Blu-ray player…

Pretty disappointing so far

I am choosing this review primarily because the product completely crashed after about twelve minutes of use. I had to disconnect and reconnect my Blu-ray player to get it working again. I thought it might need a software update so I tried connecting the device with a Cat5e ethernet cable but the device couldn't find a connection, no problem, I'll use WI-FI. A software update was available but no driver. I couldn't update my device or get it working in general. I finally found the driver on the

Sent back good for Blu-ray players and recorders

Opened box and found it was a used item. Lots of scratches, missing protective film on the front panel, crumpled and folded documents. Revain sent me a new one which arrived yesterday. I'll write a feature review once it connects. UPDATE: New device arrived in pristine condition. Plugged it in and played a Blu-ray movie with no problems. Then I tried the DVD and halfway through the movie it started stuttering. I fast-forwarded a little and the film ran to the end without any problems. I'll play

Mostly good Ideal for TV & video

This Blu-ray player is inexpensive. It streams Netflix, Hulu Plus, and several other services. I haven't tried the 3D features as I don't have a 3D TV. One problem I often see is that the wireless internet connection drops. The Blu-ray player's internet connection will not work properly if it is too far from your home wireless modem or router. We originally had this Blu-ray player in the bedroom but moved it to the living room due to poor internet connection. The wireless internet is definitely

Worst Player. I'm ashamed of LG

I'm usually very satisfied with LG products. This player is definitely an exception. I've never had so much trouble with a DVD player. I had to return the first one after two days because it crashed every time I tried to use the dlna function. Revain sent a replacement right away, but I didn't have time to test the new player right away. After some personal things got uninteresting with my movie time I plugged in a new player but the same crashes started as soon as I tried to use the dlna…

Fixed streaming issues

I bought this player to replace an old LG player that broke this week. I used it a lot more for media streaming. (I've used the tuner on my computer to store network broadcasts in HD and use the player to stream to rooms where I don't have room for a Blu-ray player and cable). This model required a media server to be installed on the computer, which was not necessary on my older model. At first I was very disappointed with the streaming. It took a very long time to read the files on the…

The first block is basically DOA, the replacement is perfect!

3 month update: My rating still stands despite downgrading it by another star. It still works with no issues playing discs. However, when you work with a connected hard drive, it often freezes. Sometimes it recovers, and sometimes resetting requires you to turn it off. This may be my fault as I am using a larger drive than advertised. Overall it still reads the entire drive and lets me see or hear what it supports. I finally found some file types that I don't support but that doesn't change my…
