Great product at a great price.

Great product, works well under my terrarium, great price and exactly as described, I paired it with a vivosun thermostat and for the price I have no complaints. I installed it 6 days ago with no problems so far. I read the previous reviews and made sure to prep the surface before attempting to install. I did this with a damp cloth, you can also use dish soap on a paper towel, then I dried the surface completely with a paper towel, then used some isopropyl alcohol on a lint free cloth and let…

Works fine, be ready to glue it. Glue sucks.

This works fine as long as you use a thermostat with it. In fact, I found my temporary gun (highly recommend using one of these to check everything) was initially running a little warmer than the gauge displayed. Once I removed the very inefficient suction cup and taped it near the mat, the problem was resolved. Just keep a close eye on it. One really crappy thing about this rug is the adhesive. It's stuck, I'm not kidding, maybe 10 seconds. The good news is that taking HVAC tape and sticking…

Great for heating - gets VERY hot - I tested the adhesion

I didn't use the adhesion because I didn't use it for reptiles but for a homemade incubator for my baby sugar gliders which her mother refused. I was concerned that he might get warm enough to get through the thick fabric and fleece at the bottom of their little mini world. Well, it gets VERY hot (so hot that I'm pretty sure it will sting if it touches her skin) but having it under her body and with the fleece over it was absolutely perfect. It has been running almost 100% non-stop for 2 months

8x12 heater under or side of tank bearded dragon

Update: I think I would center this to give it more even heat and of course leave the heater light in the corner or side as usual. I have 40l. That keeps it around 75 on the cool side, but I'd prefer it to be 85 throughout. I saw someone say they made it. I bet they put it in the middle. Unfortunately, you can't seem to remove it once it's placed. Back: I removed the reptile rug so I can easily see its placement. I had to use something to lift it off the platform it was on because the glass lay

*UPDATE* Further research has shown these heaters are NOT specifically designed for reptiles and amphibians. It does the same job: heats up like a heating pad, but doesn't stick to the glass. It is very important that pet owners understand this. This heating pad is actually used to heat the soil when growing plants. People place these heaters under planters to keep the soil at the right temperature for seed growth. Just buy a Zoo Med Pad. This is a much better product that will last for several
