Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I used the TL-WR720N for a long time, which still works to this day)) However, I had to take something new. I took ASUS RT-N11P is also a good model. However, I ran into a problem after the firmware. And so I decided to return to TP-Link and my choice fell on the TL-WR940N 450M. Satisfied with this product. Advice for buying.

Pros
  • Excellent quality, beautiful appearance, easy to use, reasonable price.
Cons
  • Personally, I have not identified any shortcomings.

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

The speed is not affected in any way by this feature. WiFi is sufficient for two separate units. A LAN connection is used to link together two smart TVs, two laptops, a PlayStation 4, and four cellphones that use wi-fi. The speed is suitable for use with any device. Doesn't lie. Naturally, assuming that you have access to a reliable internet service. Various disadvantages: I'm now furious because there is no indication of which devices are linked to which lan ports. There is not the slightest…

Average quality, not an outstanding product.

Has pros: Doesn't slow down speed. Wifi is good for 2 apartments. 2 smart TVs, 2 computers, and ps4 plus 4 smartphones on wi-fi are connected via lan. The speed is enough for all devices. Doesn't lie. Naturally, if you have a high-quality Internet provider. Has some cons: Just infuriated by the lack of indication of connected devices to lan ports. No wan indication. And neither on the site nor in the manual you will not find this information. I had to climb forums and YouTube to find out that…

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Has pros: Works fine for half a year. There are no complaints. Yearly item. Its cons: The cable departs a little from the main port, uncritically, practically does not cause inconvenience.

Poor quality, not worth the money.

It was very simple for him to set up. The good news comes to an end there. When I test the speed, it's 90 MB when I connect my laptop to my desktop via cable, but it's only 5-15 MB when I connect my laptop to my router via cable. 30-35 MB was the result when I tested the connection between the laptop and the router. This is the case even with a single connected device physically present next to the router. I got the ball rolling on a conversation with the technical support staff. They suggested

Pros
  • Quick and simple initial set up
Cons
  • The speed limit is arbitrarily lowered, and there is no technical support.

Average quality, not an outstanding product.

Once, I hired this model from a service provider, and I found that I enjoyed using it quite a bit. After moving, I made the decision to purchase the identical thing for myself. Although they shared the same model name, there were some noticeable aesthetic changes between the two (including in the packaging). As a direct result of this, I am unhappy with the standard of communication when the product is being used. Despite the fact that measurements of Internet speed over the wire consistently…

Pros
  • Ease of operation
Cons
  • Wi-Fi connection slowdown

The product is not good, I will not buy any more.

First things first, let's get everything and TP-link in particular in order. I needed a new router to replace my old D-link DIR-320, which has served me well for more than three years and is still functional today; however, the antenna on the DIR-320 cannot be removed, and it does not provide sufficient power for a two-room apartment. About 940 model. The Internet was not distributed at the time of my wedding. Even though he was phoning the wizard, dancing with a tambourine, and enlisting the…

Pros
  • Coverage region that is stylish, despite the fact that 842N catches, as it turns out, no worse
Cons
  • Internet access is not shared; it is readily polluted.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I do not consider myself an authority on routers, therefore I will analyze things from the perspective of a typical consumer. It has been more than a year since I started using it in the apartment, and it pulls perfectly in all of the rooms as well as on the balcony. The 4K video shown on the TV while connected to Wi-Fi without any issues "sucks." In addition, it is not uncommon for the apartment to have two operational televisions, both of which are capable of displaying YouTube in Full HD at…

Pros
  • Strong signal, reliable construction, and consistent quality
Cons
  • In most cases, when I read that they write "did not identify any inadequacies," I get the impression that the individual is partial to the product or has only recently begun using it; yet, there is truly nothing to comment on in terms of the product's deficiencies. Installed it more than a year ago, but I forgot about it.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I used the TL-WR720N for a very long time, and it's still functional today. However, I needed to get a new device. I used the ASUS RT-N11P, which is a great model. Nevertheless, following the firmware, I had a difficulty. I made the decision to go back to TP-Link and settled on the TL-WR940N 450M. I'm happy with this purchase. advice on purchasing.

Pros
  • Superb craftsmanship, a lovely aesthetic, use, and affordability.
Cons
  • Personally, I have not located any flaws.

Never buy this product.

I used this miracle for a couple of days. I tried everything, I wore it to a friend who has a different provider, a buggy little thing. I have my own electronics store, I will not sell this series, I will sell 741 and 841, and if they are discontinued, I will most likely choose Netgear. Pros below: Until I got it. There may be a meager coverage area and glitches due to which the neighbors will not steal Wi-Fi. Cons below: Diodes flash at night like a strobe in a disco. Through the cord it works

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

I recommend to buy. Some pros: I really liked the signal strength of the router. There is something to compare: there was D-Link Dir-320 and Asus RT-N12. There is no comparison with them at all (the signal strength can be increased by at least 15% by changing the region in it and changing it in the settings instead of 2022 to the USA). Good value for money. I do not agree with the fact that it has a small coverage area. Not only in the house, but throughout the yard and beyond. Got cons: It has

Some minuses and no pluses, do not buy.

before that there was an old tp link 3420, I didn’t know troubles and problems with it, I decided to ate it, it’s still an old model, I thought there were already better models in the same budget range, it turned out that 940 was worse in everything or not inferior Some pros: the advantages can be objectively attributed only to the design and ease of setup, although the tp link has never had any problems with this Its cons: the range is small (in the next room but in direct line of sight there…

The right product for me, the price suited me.

After D-Link DIR-300, which had previously worked without interruption for 3 years, the difference is noticeable. True, this D-Link at first also distributed it qualitatively, problems with it began to arise only a few months ago. Perhaps the same will happen with TP-LINK. Or maybe not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Has pros: It distributes 35 Mbps declared by the provider to 5 devices without loss of speed and ping jumps. Doesn't get very hot. Some cons: Sometimes it does not download well via torrent. Does not…

Overall it's good but I expect more, there are some downsides.

I set up not for myself, but for the subscriber. At a rate of 300Mb / s next to it on WiFi on a good phone showed 94Mb / s at 5GHz . well, let's count 100 . But no more. And why? Because it cannot accept more than 100Mb / s over the cable. The photo clearly shows that there are only 4 contacts. Pros below: Easy to set up, especially if your ISP issues an IP automatically. Has cons: Despite the fact that it gives out 300Mb / s in terms of parameters, you will not get more than 100Mb / s on the…

It's the best purchase I ever made, I will definitely do it again.

I evaluate from the point of view of an ordinary consumer, because not an expert in routers. I have been using it in the apartment for more than a year, it pulls perfectly in all rooms and on the balcony. The TV without problems on Wi-Fi "sucks" video from it in 4K. Moreover, it often happens that two TVs work in the apartment, both show YouTube in FullHD at the same time, and at the same time someone else is sitting at the computer on the Internet (surfing). In such situations, there are no…

Pros
  • Good design, signal strength, stability
Cons
  • Usually when I see that they write "did not find any shortcomings", there is a feeling that a person is biased towards the product, or has just started using it, but there really is nothing to say about the shortcomings. Installed over a year ago and forgot.

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I've never seen anything worse! A terrible purchase.

I took it to expand the coverage area. The router got free then. But even then, it's useless. If I had bought for my own, I would have been even more upset. In general, I do not recommend at all. Described in detail with measurements and screenshots here: https://viedmin. Livejournal. Com/1049640. Html Z. Y. No, I'm not an agent of asus, mikrotik or anyone else. I just needed a more or less normal router to increase the coverage area.

Pros
  • Simple and intuitive to set up.
Cons
  • The weakest signal of all the routers that I have met in my life. The signal level seriously drops already at a distance of 2 (!) meters.
