DMZ: Canadian Incubator for Entrepreneurs in the World

Incubator founded by a university in Toronto Canada in 2010, its mission is not only to incubate accelerate but also to convert entrepreneurial companies into world leading companies.
ο»Ώ
Entrepreneurs in companies with global leadership, not just looking for success. The numbers speak for themselves since its launch in 2010, their companies have generated the astronomical figure close to one billion dorales, and nearly 500 successful companies not only in Canada, worldwide.
ο»Ώ
In its programs there are 4 fundamental programs, incubation, acceleration, eople of color entrepreneurship, and another one for women, I have really tried to understand the reason to put in plans that distinction, for eople of color? In my opinion it is out of place, the plans should be open whether you are black or white, male, female. The important thing is really the undertaking itself. I asked why? But I got no answer. I don't get it. But I will describe their plans or programs.
ο»Ώ
The programs range from the one offered only for ventures in Canada, for students and young entrepreneurship in technological areas, then we have the DMZ plan which is of a long duration of approximately 18 months is characterized by being global, for any venture in any country, the ventures that apply will have investment capital, prestigious mentors worldwide, marketing strategies and direct marketing, to apply is required an innovative venture in technological areas, a technical person and a founder of the project full time during the venture and after it.
