It's a gas tank, what can I say.

This is the original gas cap for an old GM car. It fits, it seals properly according to CA smog test regulations. There is not much more to say about it.

Actual OEM fit. Best in Caps

This is the third gas cap I have tried on my 89 IROC and the only one that actually fits. Easy to screw on and off, perfect fit, 10/10 recommended.

I had to sand the threads with sandpaper

The cap fit perfectly out of the box. It won't bypass the first thread. I had to remove part of the outside edge of the thread with a piece of emery cloth. Once I did that, it worked great. By the way, this cap is from Stant. What a good brand.

Didn't fit properly.

Probably the right cover for my 1988 Trans Am. It was poorly sealed, resulting in a fuel leak. I had to sand away the paint stains. I've spoken to other Camaro and Firebird owners who have had similar experiences. Stunt was the manufacturer of the original 1982 thru 1992 Firebird/Camaro gas caps. You're still in business. Shop there.

is this a joke? fits cap

I live in the country and have driven 30 miles for a gas cap since. So I ordered one here for my 1989 IROC-Z. Only half came. The box is not damaged. I have contacted ACDelco and am waiting for a response. UPDATE > ACDelco contacted me and said it was a Revain issue. So to get it back I have to drive 30 miles to the drop off point. What a waste of time and resources. The first step was to contact the parts dealer.
