No noise, less dust than stock and seemingly improved braking (I didn't drive the car to the ends of the earth to test it. Just driving and towing). This is the second set of pads for my 2006 Nissan Xterra. The Akebono kit includes stainless steel spring clamps and V-springs. The "V" springs spread the pads and separate them from the brake discs after the brake is applied. Like all Akebono pads I've used, they're low dusting and great for NVH. Braking distance and bite are about the same as the OEM. Time will tell how long it lasts and if performance holds up over time. I was hoping for slightly better performance over the OEM and might have used performance pads instead. They're as good as real Nissan ceramic pads (I was told by a little bird that Akebono makes real Nissan brake pads)! Doesn't dust, doesn't squeak, lasts a long time. I bought these to replace a set of Napa Ultra Premium pads that only lasted 14 months (gaskets suck, DON'T BUY THEM!).
