- f2 - working, and the further - the sharper. Really sharper. Very cool picture. Both in the center and in the corners. Draws good bokeh. Autofocus is fast and tenacious. Convenient focal length for my crop. I put it on ff - it seemed to me that it looks even cooler there. Again, the focal length is "for growth" if you have a crop. Now these are convenient 55mm, but there will be no less convenient 35mm, just for slightly different tasks. I didn’t manage to fully test the stub in the wild, if it’s dark, then I go with a tripod. But it seems to work just fine =)
- Not loud, but not quiet either - on the video you can hear how he rides. For me, not an indicator, but as a fact. They write that it is small and light. Compared to L-kami and sigma - yes. Compared to all sorts of miniature fifty dollars, 1.8 (the comparison is not very appropriate, but still) is not small. I wouldn't call it compact.
- Excellent sharpness with open. Much sharper at f/2 than 50mm f/1.4 covered up to 2. Very fast focusing, good tracking. Lightweight, compact. Of the nice bonuses, the stabilizer and autofocus work great on the old Canon 630 film, which is already 25 years old.
- Stabilization is a double-edged sword. You should not completely trust her: sometimes excellently sharp frames come out at 1/5 of a second, and sometimes at 1/40 there is a noticeable blur and movement.
- Excellent construct. Despite the fact that the case is plastic, it feels just fine. Relatively compact and not very heavy. The presence of a stabilizer. Very fast autofocus (at least compared to EF 50/f1.8 STM).
- My copy turned out to be not only with a significant front focus, but in general it gives a very soapy picture. Adjustment didn't help. For the second time in a couple of months I will go to the service.
- + f2 quite sharp in the center, + from f4 sharp! + resolution suitable for any camera up to 30MP (canon EF) + not big (compare with L-series and sigma) + on crop can be used instead of 50mm, and not removed at all + the ability to switch from crop to full frame (on crop as a reporter, on FF as a landscape painter) + stabilizer!
- - focus often misses - focus is not fast (but not slow)
- Nothing. I am writing at the request of the forum moderator. I don't know what else to write. It doesn't have any positives for the price. a regular lens is unremarkable, at least on 6d mark2. maybe for the old canons it was better.
- High price in relation to the quality of the picture. Sharpness, saturation of the lens image is not better than that of a significantly cheaper 50mm stm
- Sharpness, aperture, clear focus, weight, size. Sharpness is of course very good. I'm not a pro, but for me this lens is incomparable! Very comfortable focal length. I previously shot a compact macro for fifty dollars. Lacked in the room. And this is where everything fits in. Focus catches well. Bokeh has not yet tried to shoot. Quite light and small in size. The backpack fits right into my purse.
- Price. No hood. It's all.
- For crop salvation Has automatic stabilization 35 is a thing Norm luminosity
- Heavy sharpness Misses focus, needs alignment
- Quality product from Canon. Pleased with the presence of a stub.
- There are no comments on the product as such. Surprised by some properties of the focal length of 35 mm. (see comment)
- A native Canon lens, so any compatibility issues like the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art, for example, are completely ruled out. A universal angle that doesn't kill the geometry. The most inexpensive 35mm lens in the system. Aperture-fast. Fast enough autofocus, but not ultra. Holds backlight very well. Light. Rugged construction. The presence of a stabilizer that compensates for 3-4 stops. Sharp from an open aperture. Produces excellent image and nice bokeh. 2-year warranty, as with all officially supplied Canon products (there is a sticker on the box). Reliable packaging. And finally (fanfare sounds), Made in Japan! )))
- The main thing is the lack of a lens hood and a Spartan kit in general, but a lens hood is really necessary, and if you buy it separately, it's godlessly expensive. We solve the problem by purchasing a copy or a compatible threaded one. Narrow focus ring. The lens is really a little less sharp at f / 2 than the mentioned Sigma (if you're lucky and it doesn't miss autofocus), but the sharpness is good in the corners, and not just in the center. Well, the price could be lower, by 5,000 thousand, at least .
- Sharp, accurate, fast, reliable, affordable
- Not found. The first lens was perfect. I had to sell it, and then return to this glass anyway, but . the second copy had a front focus. Of course, not fatal, but you have to train at different distances, suddenly the amendment will act differently. In general, you need to choose when buying!
- Sharpness with open across the entire field of the frame. The minimum level of distortion, beautiful color and bokeh pattern. Supersonic USM autofocus. Due to the presence of a stabilizer, it can record video. Weight and dimensions cause a smile. Does not change dimensions when focusing.
- They forgot to put a lens hood (I recommend the Chinese one from EF-S 18-135 STM, you will get a good reduction in size relative to your native one, while maintaining functionality.)
- Sharp with open Lightweight and compact Convenient focal length (I have FF) for 90% of types of shooting The stabilizer will really help out when shooting landscapes or static objects handheld at night without the need to overestimate ISO. 1/5 without grease. Pretty fast AF, although it can be better
- The price tag, but it's very subjective.
- Lightweight, comfortable on the crop
- Price
- Stabilizer Aperture sharpness Ease
- There are aberrations, but ooooooo very rare, I noticed once at all)
- Fast focus, good nice picture at Canon 85mm f1.8 level, nice bokeh. quiet, holds backlight well (but a lens hood is needed), compact and lightweight, unlike sigma.
- The price (but all this is due to the crisis), a blend with the price of an airplane wing.
- Sharp, fast, overall, hassle-free
- At f2, the bokeh is more often terrible than beautiful, especially if you are not photographing a portrait
- Stably "hits" the target. The picture is sharp, the result is predictable.
- no lens hood included (as usual for non-L-ki). ordered from China
- Stabilizer Aperture Focal length autofocus The weight
- Price)
- On a crop, it becomes a replacement for a 55 mm lens, i. E. may be considered normal. It is fast and has a stabilizer, so you can shoot without a flash even with a black man in a known place. The aperture has eight rounded blades, so that spots outside the field of sharpness do not have noticeable angles. Nimble and quiet USM, allowing manual focus adjustment at any time. However, even without correction, the lens focuses quite accurately. Suitable for full frame cameras, so when upgrading to Full Frame it will still be useful. The design makes it feel solid and reliable.
- Big and heavy. The front lens is almost not recessed into the body, so it is not difficult to damage it. Large thread diameter for filters, i. E. filters are expensive. The image stabilizer almost stops working in the event of reframing (focusing the center point on the desired object, then recomposing the frame). “They could have sewn into the software the recognition of such actions by the photographer and the restoration of stabilization after the movement stopped. By the way, I didn’t notice such a problem with a whale lens” - after a while of operation, I can say that it turned out that you just need to wait a second - and stabilization is restored.
