Description of 📊 Accurate Data Tracking and Versatile Control: Cateye Enduro CC-ED400 Computer

ALL YOUR FAVORITE STATS: Displays current, max, and average speed, total distance, trip distance, elapsed time, calories, carbon offset, pace arrow, and clock. DURABILITY FOR THE ROAD: The Enduro has a heavy-duty wire to stand up to everyday wear and tear. FOCUS ON THE RIDE, NOT THE SCREEN: Don't let navigating menus or buttons get in the way of enjoying your ride. Simply press the single, front-facing button to toggle through functions. BECAUSE YOU CARE: The Enduro also tracks calories and carbon offset. DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STOPS: Caught at a red light? Stopping for coffee? We've got you covered. Your CatEye computer knows when you've stopped and automatically stops counting time and averaging speed.

Easy to install, easy to reset mileage and works great!

As a mountain biker, I ride my bike hard on some bumpy trails. This computer works great and is easy to install. I added some black duct tape to attach the computer mount and magnet to the wheel to keep it from moving during my hardcore rides. I'm glad CatEye makes this computer specifically for mountain bikes. I couldn't be happier with the performance.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some bugs

A beautiful and comfortable addition to any bike.

Installed it at a bike shop so I know it was installed correctly. I bought "wired" after reading that some people have problems with their cell phones or other wireless interference. I like that they had to set it up with a big incline. The bike shop mounted it flat on the center post (top) of the handlebars and it's 100% direct in the sun. It reaches about 107° and most of the summer it is 100° or more in the shade. This is sunny (but lousy) California. In a short time he made discolorations…

Another great Cateye computer

I have had Cateye wired bike computers for many years now. Although there are many wireless devices on the market, I haven't had any luck with them. I want wires for more reliability. This device provides all the information I need with a simple one button interface. Time will tell if the computer has the reliability a mountain bike computer needs, but I'm sure it will suit my riding style. The device has two measurements that my other coils don't have - calories and carbon offset. I'm not sure

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Some cons

Love the big display. Only has the features that are important to me. The display mount isn't really designed for a 35mm rod, but make sure you use the included double-sided tape and tighten those zip-ties securely to keep the mount working properly. The cable is a bit short; It could really use another 3 to 5 inches and would be perfect for large modern mountain bikes. I am using a 29" x 130mm Rockshox Pike and you cannot use the sensor on the left fork leg (ideal side) as the spoke mounted…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Security

After years of use and general love for my CatEye Enduro 8 bike computers I had to replace them as the poor design of the mounting brackets eventually led to corrosion and cable connection failure. The new enduro is better overall. One button operation on the front and one adjustment knob on the back make it more intuitive than previous versions. The screen is better and the mount can be attached to either the steering wheel or the stem. However, the mount is still the weakest part and I wish…

Pros
  • Still Happy
Cons
  • Interval

It was easy to physically install on the bike and it's well made - good and heavy off-road. The kit included everything needed for installation - zip ties, tape, etc. Installation instructions were clear. It's a little harder to program, so I'm deducting half a star. Not so much because of the device, but because of the instructions. It actually says instructions for 18 languages. Yes, I said 18! But after giving some basic stuff in 18 languages, they just use diagrams to tell you how to…

  • This is great.

KISS - Easy to install, easy to use, not too many bugs.

I was originally looking to get the Cateye Velo 7 Wired, but saw a review that said it wasn't suitable for mountain bikes (because I think they really mean 5mm - on bikes with front suspension). I was skeptical of these reviewer comments but settled on the Enduro based on the increased durability and claimed off-road use. Mounting it on my Trek 930 with Rock Shox front suspension was straightforward and getting 5mm of clearance was easy. The system worked immediately, without additional…

Robust, easy to use, simple functions

This CatEye works great and is easy to use as expected. I previously had a CatEye Mity 3 so I was familiar with the programming. But the Enduro reads at least twice as much as the Mity 3. The bracket on my Mity 3 was very brittle and ended up breaking too badly to repair. The Enduro was about double the price of a replacement Mity mount, so I decided to upgrade. As mentioned earlier, the tape attachment method is not that strong. But I've decided to use heavier zip ties with no tape, and both…
