This belt dampens creaks and groans better than 2 other replacement parts I've tried. Excellent. Eventually I expect the strap to stretch a bit and the squeak to return. But we will see.

This V-ribbed belt has stopped the squeaking completely. If the pulleys are barely aligned, they will squeak no matter how new your belt is. Next to. Now I will only buy these belts for my cars.

Our Chrysler minivan hasn't stopped chirping in years. I've tried everything, new pulleys, new belts, belt threading, new pumps. Everyone. Nothing helped to silence him. And then I tried. Belt tensioned quickly and easily once I got to the tensioner (another brilliant engine design from Chrysler). When I first started the engine it made an odd squeaking sound, but I think it was just a belt that was properly tensioned when tensioned. No noise after subsequent starts. Replaced an old squeaky belt with an Adv. auto parts. The squeak came back after 1 week (I assume the van has a misaligned water pump pulley). I replaced the W strap with a Gatorback - the squeak was gone and after 3 months it's still silent. Happy. By the way, Adv. Our 2003 Grand Caravan has a small oil leak getting on the ribbed pulleys. The car creaked even with a new belt. Put this belt on and the squeaks are gone! AWESOME design of this belt. The ribbing is reminiscent of a winter tire profile. The light reflected from the tape shows that fine grains are mixed into the tape. This baby grabs the pulleys and grips the snow tire like a tread cutting through the oil on the pulleys. Great design that really works. I will never buy another belt for our van…

My only issue with this belt was if it would fit my car. I just don't trust Revain to determine if a part will fit my car. sorry Rewan So check other sites before committing. It's been a few months and no chirps. This belt fits my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country perfectly. I started tweeting last winter.
