A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I don’t understand anything about SSDs, their speeds, controllers and caches. I'm too lazy, and there is no time to study the issue thoroughly. The decision was made based on the feedback of good people. Satisfied with the disk. The purchase was 100% worth it.

Has pros: - Faster than SanDisk 240 GB (SDSSDA-240G-G26): I put it in a laptop for 13 years - it flew at all. And Crucial - in stationary. - There is a noticeable increase in data transfer. - Seems like a decent buffer size. Has cons: - The operating temperature is higher than that of competitors, but the difference is noticeable only in numbers. In practice, you do not attach any importance to this.

Best price for this product, will buy more!

I bought it more than a year ago for my laptop, it works fine, Windows 8.1 on HP Pavilion m6 1050er turns on in 5 seconds and turns off in 5-6 seconds. The write speed compared to HDD is incredibly fast. Now I'm building a PC, I'll buy this SSD model from Crucial.

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

I replaced the HDD in a Packard Bell 512Gb laptop with this SSD. Easily transferred the system image to a new drive. I had to buy a USB adapter in order to connect a new disk to a laptop for data transfer. After the transfer, I turned off the laptop, took out the battery, took off the bottom special cover, took out the old HDD and inserted a new SSD. After turning on the laptop, everything immediately worked. Loads noticeably faster. 256Gb is more than enough to install and run Win10. (Large…

Pros
  • Works great. Just transfer the system to a new SSD and install it in the laptop instead of the HDD.
Cons
  • The manufacturer, as against 2022, removed the manual in 2022 for installing the SSD from its website. It's good that I managed to download it even before buying an SSD! (I just got used to preparing everything in advance and studying it)

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Got pros: I was pleased with the speed of work, when writing large volumes of files, the speed sags of course, but it still keeps at about 200 mb / s, I consider it a normal indicator Got cons: The disk heats up a little more than other firms. At idle, about 39C, under load it rises to 50C-52C

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I wanted to speed up the work of an already "dead" system on AM3 +, and buying this SSD met my expectations. Installed a clean Windows 10 on it. After installation, the "service life" of the disk was reduced by half a year (according to ssd-life))), and after that it remains unchanged (until 2029). The download speed is not comparable to the one on the HDD. I didn’t measure it in seconds, but only the motherboard splash screen flashes, and then the Windows “window” and that’s it, the system is…

Pros
  • Excellent SSD in its segment.
Cons
  • In tests, it does not live up to the declared characteristics a little. But it's still a test.

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

I use an old macbook pro from 2022, its native hard drive recently began to work very slowly, the macbook began to boot for a very long time and sometimes only the second time - then it died twice at all (I had to reinstall the macos), I thought that it was time to buy a new macbook, but they are very expensive. And so I bought and inserted this new ssd for only 3+ thousand - the macbook came to life and began to live a second life - it became fast and trouble-free. In short, I saved two…

Pros
  • reliable manufacturer, suitable for macbook pro 2022, can be used as an external drive if you buy an external case
Cons
  • Not

Good value for money, I recommend.

Despite all the disadvantages of a solid ssd, unlike very budget models, you are not afraid that you will die at any moment + 1.5 times higher random reading speed than the cheapest models. The read / write speed will also be higher, but objectively you will not notice this because when copying, you will run into the speed of the hdd / flash drive. Still, for ssd, the main thing is the speed of random reading. And the speed of random reading / durability is almost Samsung's, Samsung's is a…

Pros
  • A good middle peasant among ssds, in terms of speed it is quite a bit inferior to Samsung Evo, which costs a third more. I will say this, among SATA 3 6gb / s, 90-95% of speed is squeezed out of this ssd. Unlike cheaper models, it stably keeps high speed when copying even large files, more than 2-3GB, while at cheap speeds they can fall below hdd speeds. A completely different question is who needs it, because if you copy most likely from hdd to ssd or vice versa, and there everything rests on hdd with almost any not-so- ssd. Durability is good too. I have been using it for 2 months, I have recorded about 1.3tb of data, according to the proprietary program, the service life is 99%. That is, in total, somewhere around 100-200tb of data can be overwritten.
Cons
  • They exist and there are quite a few of them: 1. These are proprietary utilities. Crucial has them, but they are made anyhow, if the support utility is still all right. Well, ugly with a crooked output of information, but at least it works. Already ated the firmware through it (all the rules). Then the transfer utility is something. Not only that, you can only transfer from hdd to ssd only if ssd is the same size as hdd or larger. So the program doesn’t care much if, for example, you have a 500GB screw, but only 40 are occupied on it, it will not allow you to transfer these 40, even to a 250GB ssd, only to 500GB. Secondly, this is a stupidly torn program from Paragon, and when I transferred it with paragon, I ended up with a blue screen, although I copied the disk 1v1 to the last file. I had to set the system from 0. If you want a quiet transfer without incident, you will either have to buy a transfer program separately, or take Samsung, there is a proprietary transfer program without jambs. 2. Support in English only. There are no representative offices of the company in the CIS at all, so if there are any questions about the guarantee, then consider this too. 3. Delivery set 0, only ssd, no bolts, no cable (but this is a standard, don't expect anything from other companies here either) 4. I can not say that this ssd is absolutely silent and trouble-free in operation. Very rarely, but sometimes it makes some clicks, not very loud, the sound is similar to the displacement of the head of the hdd (but it is the ssd that emits, I checked). For an 8-hour session, there can be 2-5 such clicks (generally not critical). So, during these clicks, the system freezes for about 0.1-0.5 seconds. As I understand it, some internal algorithms are performed.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

SSD Crucial CT250MX500SSD1N for laptop and desktop computer, aluminum case, high write and read speed, capacity 250 GB, TLC 3D NAND, SATA III 6Gb / s interface, dimensions 100 x 70 x 7 mm. The manufacturer is a well-known company Micron gives a guarantee of 3 years. Crucial SSD usage time is less than 30 days, I am satisfied with the purchase of the SSD drive, I recommend it for purchase, in my opinion a good choice (quality, reliability, price).

Pros
  • SSD Crucial CT250MX500SSD1N, gaming, fast installation, reliable.
Cons
  • No.

I have a Mac Mini that's a few years old with a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive. When I first got it, I cloned it to an external SSD (a different brand than this one), but the SSD was only 256GB, and since I'm using Parallels, I had another external SSD for VMs. Eventually something happened when the SSD cracked and I had to revert to a painfully slow HDD. I've been eyeing a 1TB SSD and expecting it to drop below $200 at some point. One day I cursed 1TB SSDs and stumbled across these. A 750GB SSD that's

Breathed new life into my 2010 Macbook Pro!

I bought one of these to upgrade my mid 2010 MacBook Pro. I have previously replaced the original hard drive with a 750GB hard drive, but the system has slowed down with each successive version of Mac OS. I was concerned when I first received this CD because there were no instructions other than a web link to a utility that runs on Windows. So I clicked the chat button on the Crucial website and was immediately greeted by an agent who gave me a link to Mac instructions. I've already upgraded to

) ) with this 750GB Crucial SSD. I updated another one in November 2015 and it works fine. Crucial (#2) runs much faster than expected. However, about 4 weeks after installation I noticed a lot of random shutdowns and spinning globes. I didn't think much about it until these episodes became more frequent. I started running DiskUtility and every time I run it I get some kind of corruption error, bad block count error or invalid free block, which DiskUtility seems to fix successfully. . Then…

Like I got a new Macbook Pro

I bought it from Revain for half the regular Blackfriday price. Installed yesterday. Works great with my MacBook Pro 13" non-retina model mid 2012 with Sierra. Download speed increased to about 20 seconds. Programs open when you click the icons. It's like a new model. So far I'm I am very happy with the result Cons: The Acronis serial key transfer software included in the package only works with the Windows version of the program, but Apple's own Disk tool does the job when cloning a hard…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • So so

I bought two of these drives on Black Friday and have encountered the same new problem on both computers I put them in. From time to time (it seems random) the computer freezes completely for 10-15 seconds. It doesn't happen very often, but enough to be noticeable. Probably three times a day at most. There seems to be an interface problem between the computer and the address space on these drives. I didn't realize that disk I/O interrupts could cause such a complete OS freeze, so I replaced…
