Fits perfectly. The 2016 GM has such a threaded frame.

Perfect fit. The 2016 GM has a threaded frame, eliminating the need to catch screws through that frame. Comes with all parts needed to mount brackets and body rails to the truck.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Not sure

Must Have Fifth Wheel Mount Item

I got this for mounting a fifth wheel on my truck (2016 Silverado 2500HD with 6.5ft bed). Perfect fit, excellent quality and easy installation. Be sure to order the correct mounts for your truck - it's not something you want to "try on and fit" if you get the wrong one.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Clarity

All internal bolts fit fifth wheel

Hope this answers a few questions people have. I photographed everything that was in the box. I wasn't sure if the rail screws were included either. It seems to me that as of 12/04/2019 all screws, gaskets and washers for the frame guides and fasteners are included in the kit. I haven't installed it yet but will update my review soon. Incidentally, this was ordered for a 2500 Silverado Double Cab diesel engine from 2019.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Count all the hardware before you start

This product shipped much sooner than expected but as soon as I got home I noticed that the outer packaging was cracked at the end of the hour and Both ends of the inner box were broken. The gear bag was either previously opened and not resealed, or the crease on the bag didn't work. I took everything out of the boxes and counted all the fasteners, missing a lock washer, washer and C-ring. I think there should be better packaging to prevent the inner box from moving inside the outer box and…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Heavy Duty Fifth Hitch

The brackets looked very strong and of good quality. The holes perfectly matched the frame of my 2013 Chevy Silverado LTZ HD Duramax Diesel 3500. The included equipment and instructions were also very good. It was a minor assembly job as the working space between the truck frame and the body is narrow and difficult to access, especially above the fuel tank. I found it was the work of two people, one in the box and me under the truck. You'll need larger wrenches, a set of sockets, and a drill…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

They worked great on my 2016 2500HD SLT Duramax Diesel

They worked great on my 2016 2500HD SLT Duramax Diesel. The instructions are not clear. It took my dad and I a while because we didn't have a lift and I didn't watch the video before we started. I strongly recommend watching the video. After that it made sense. I removed the spare tire, folded back the heat shield (curved when I was done) on the passenger side. On the driver's side, we had to remove a cover in the wheel arch to access the bolts behind the fuel tank on that side. The rail and…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Security

Great product especially for new truck models with threaded holes in the frame, the instructions are quite clear, the video helps but it's not that video realistic in any way Once you have them installed you'll see why, as it's physically impossible to get a torque wrench on any of the nuts above the frame (main clutch nuts) and you need to be an acrobat to tighten the nuts, once in a while it's not that bad is done, we just used an open end/ratchet wrench and used the old mechanical trick of…

2019 CHEVY 2500HD DIESEL SHORT BED

If suitable. Remove spare part. Remove the heat shield. Position the brackets so the rear holes are closer to the center of the truck (the rear rack studs are further away). You can access all of the rail studs from the back of the truck. The rail bolts are 110 ft/lb and some cannot be loosened with a torque wrench. A private key with a cheat bar is used. First, I practiced the "feel" of the bolts tightened with a torque wrench. The rail studs above the gas tank are accessible from the back of…

Great brackets and very easy if you have a 2016 Silverado

Very good strong brackets. My 2016 Silverado already had threaded nuts in the frame. I was able to install, bolt and tighten these brackets without removing the rear wheels, but you must install the rails and bolts through the brackets before applying final torque to the brackets. Install the brackets and hand tighten the screws, then attach the rails and finally tighten the brackets. Keep in mind that these brackets are for the left and right side and you cannot interchange them. If you look…

Pros
