Follow the directions for using water.

These bits far outperform the cheap high frequency bits I've bought. I would encourage sellers to add another piece of advice I found. When drilling bowls, I use the drill press set to maximum speed, but have found that I can cut drilling time (and bit life) in half by raising the bit every 3 seconds, just enough for the drill head to clear and that flush hole. My guess is that as the bit is lifted the water can wash away any loose residue that could act as a lubricant on the bit head. If I…

I bought this diamond drill bit from my local hardware store to drill into polished rock and it didn't work. The bat broke without harming the stone. I paid more for this than this 30 piece set. Although it was my fault I didn't splash water on him. So I bought this set to try again. I realized it was cheap and if it didn't work I wouldn't have that much money. It worked. Don't use dry stuff for the drill bit

I bought these to drill holes in the heads of some porcelain Santas that I want to hang on my Christmas tree. I tried all sorts of drills around the house and then ordered this one. They got ALMOST ZERO stars until I found out. On the first try, I put on a 1 mm drill and started drilling. . It didn't even leave a mark on old Santa's head. boo! Then my husband tried 3mm. No luck. My husband then tried 3mm under running water (as I found online you have to drill porcelain under water). Success…
