Avoid this Chinese made pos. It's made of plastic and thin flimsy film. Terrible design and not strong. This gives the user a false sense of security. A simple press can completely disable this device.

very difficult to install, unused in the box. It's just too hard to get under the door and screw it on. Too difficult and can be overcome by pushing the door. Instead I got Addalock which is easy to install and holds the door very securely.

It looks like a great product and after reading all the info in detail I bought one for my class. Unfortunately, when I came back from the summer holidays, I had to realize that it doesn't work on doors that open outwards, only on those that push into the room. By the time I was able to get to my class to try it out, I had missed the return deadline by a week. It's now in a box on the shelf 🙁

Just received and tested. The design of the product works and is well finished except for the plastic part. after several attempts at my door. You can see that the plastic is showing signs of stress and will soon break. It should be metal like everything else. I wouldn't want to spend money on something breaking in the next two or three weeks. This is an easy fix for production, but it might cost you a little more money.

I live in an apartment with a door that is a little higher than most houses. Works great with the included adjustment wedge. It's not as secure as a night lock, but if you rent it you definitely can't poke holes in the ground. Checked, and to be honest, yes someone COULD get in. if only they could muster enough force to snap the door's hinges and destroy the frame entirely. Definitely worth giving you those moments to react, arm yourself and call the police/or get out if you prefer.

I ordered this to stop my landlord from entering my house during the coronavirus because the police didn't and there were no ships.
