Very simple packaging. If you're doing it yourself, you probably won't need full instructions. I've used it on automatic and it's working great so far. Installed more than a month ago, no problems. Over $200 less than a factory replacement. Would definitely buy again. I access the database every time I need an electrical component for a car.

Installed in my element a week ago. Make sure this starter is for a MANUAL transmission and not an automatic transmission. There's a difference. Perfect so far and much quieter than the factory starter. If you are installing yourself you will need to remove the intake manifold so make sure you get gaskets etc before attempting the job. Works well but not quite as shown; The braided cable from the solenoid to the motor is a bit longer and more open than I was hoping. In some photos it is shown as a flat strip of metal neatly wrapped in tubing. I sealed the braid and coated it with dielectric grease to protect it as this piece of wire showed significant signs of oxidation on my old starter motor.
