Perfect fit for my performance car!

The Fel-Pro gasket fit perfectly on my performance car's oil pan. As a result of my tests, I determined that it effectively stopped any oil leaks and helped to maintain proper engine oil levels. The material feels durable and resistant to high temperatures. One downside is that it may be more expensive than other gasket options, but its reliability is worth the investment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a trustworthy gasket to keep their engine running smoothly.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting gasket that can withstand extreme temperature and pressure
Cons
  • Requires professional installation due to its complex design and may cause leaks if not installed correctly.

a bit too long to fit Parts

The curved rubber gasket that fits on the rear end of the oil pan was about 3/16 inch too long. Luckily I still had the old, used piece of rubber that didn't slow down. The other three parts fit well and I mounted the oil pan.

Not an easy day! best spare parts

Removing the oil pan was very difficult. I removed the upper manifold, throttle body and lifted the engine. Take a picture of the vacuum hoses. You don't have to drain the radiator. But you have to turn the engine to remove the crank counterweights. The book doesn't say that! I put a wrench on the flywheel to crank the engine at idle. Raising the engine to a great height will not allow you to remove it. Patience is the key. Raise the engine 2-3 inches and the oil pan will come loose. Promise…
